Every time I change the eSim / sim label name under cellular it eventually changes back to primary and secondary. My secondary is a physical sim.

this has been happening since iOS 13. Rather annoying, sent bug to Apple and of course nothing.

anyone else notice this?

I face this issue & tried everything to fix but nothing works so I factory resets & setup as new, on process of setting up I change label as per my wishes & works fine for me.

I had two bugs submitted during iOS 13 first betas fixed, so they do fix and see the submissions, but not always they do the "have watched, test now please to see if fixed" to your ticket.

Oh I’ve dozens of bug reports and the bugs *were* fixed (and I never receive any feedback from Apple), but I’m just finished submitting the same three reports with every single beta. Clearly those issues aren’t a priority.

Maybe they fixed on their own, not because of your report.
this fixing might be in the original plan of their slow work pace.

Are you a developer at all? Code optimization is literally the “clean up” / removal of extraneous code and/or the replacement with long form code with short form code calling macro functions / hooks into APIs. The net result is always binary file size reduction.

That being said... The 0.01 GB change in IPSW size is insufficient information to base any assumptions. Everything is pure speculation.

Yes, simply speculating on what might have changed.

bench marks on the iPhone XR for the last 3 betas on multi core have got worse.

1) when your in Photos and select multiple pictures to share via Messages, the photos are sent out of order.

2) the text on the Up Next widget intermittently shifts up and down when swiping over to the widget screen.

3) in the Mail app, when composing an email from an account without an email signature, then tapping your email address to switch to another account *with* a signature, the signature never shows up.

All of these things worked fine in iOS 12.

The email signature bug doesn't occur for me so maybe that's one that's one that's not as widespread an issue.

I do have the other two bugs you mentioned so I feel your pain on those (although the up next bug doesn't bother me as I just removed the widget).

Noticed cellular is more unstable: radio randomly restarts and starts searching for signal.

Going to settings then general, you will feel a random haptic feedback.

Otherwise beta is just ok.

I’m not sure comparing performance between betas is all that enlightening given what may be going on (logging, intentional de-optimization, etc). I think the only meaningful comparisons would be between release versions.

very true. I did these test through out iOS 13 also. Then when the official release came out, it wasn’t any better and some betas were much faster by 200points. Go figure.

If anyone here has an iPad Air 2, does this fix the performance issues? Since 13.2 performance is dismal and got way worse with 13.3. Basically rendered unusable!

Reset network settings. If that doesn't help, reset all settings.

I've had this issue back in the day with beta builds (I'm thinking more ios 11 and ios 12), and the above resolved it.

Cellular and wifi with 13.3.1b3 on my 11 pro max has been solid so far.

Agreed. Not fixed. Most of the “download times” after the app has been launched are now 1-2 seconds. Occasionally I’ll get one that hands for 6-8 seconds.
Well, about twelve hours into this beta, and the problem still exists for me. 8 seconds to wait for an unread email to show up in the inbox. I can’t see this being fixed in the 13.3.1 final or in iOS 13 at all.

I really wish it would stop telling me an e-mail is there when it’s not. They can’t be trusted to make stable software anymore.

Do you have multiple email accounts in your stock Mail app - at least one with a signature and on without?

So you’re saying that if you’re composing an email from an account *without* a signature...and then tap the “From” field to switch to an account *with* a signature...the signature will suddenly appear?

Any way to record this so I can see? I’ve done numerous restores and set up the phone from scratch and this issue always persists.

I am wondering if this email issue isn’t something on Apples end with their server’s or ISP issue? Only reason I say that is I was at the Apple Store in Raleigh NC and the Geniuses lol we’re bitching about getting replies from Apple for RMA’s were taking longer and longer to get and internal emails were showing up to 1 hour after the sent stamp on the email. I piped up and said Gee that sounds like the issues with IOS 13 and the phones. They very quickly shut up.
