Same here. I’ve got 1 Exchange account along with my iCloud account, 3 Gmail accounts, a Yahoo account, an Outlook.com account, and an IMAP account. I’ve only seen worse performance over time with every release- official or beta releases... Its my iCloud account I find I have the most problems with. That, along with the “All Inboxes” folder. The (still open) Radar I filed with Apple back in mid-August is still open with a note at the top saying a fix might be available in iOS 13. How many releases of iOS 13 have been released now? Not including the initial Dev betas before the official release of iOS 13 (not iOS 13.1)?
This :mad::(:confused:.
But I have to say, on b3 if I open the mail app and pull to refresh using only the Exchange account Inbox page, it resolves E.v.e.r.y. time. Without. Fail.
If I pull to refresh using only the iCloud Inbox page, it may refresh in a second, or it may take up to 30 seconds to refresh. So far in the last 24+ hours on b3, it has always eventually refreshed, so maybe a little better than b2 - for me. Just sharing my experience.

First beta I've run of the 13.3.1 branch on my iPhone 11.
Honestly, runs like a GM to me, no issues, battery is good, apps run smooth. Sorry, don't use default mail client.
I do notice that I still have the issue where HomeKit Home app will tell me my "garage door is closed" about an hour after I actually closed it. Not sure why such a long delay in getting a notification. MYQ app is instantaneous

Same general experience thus far on my fifth-generation iPad mini as well as on my iPhone 11. Apps download, update, install, launch, and run swiftly and the user interface looks smooth and fluid. Battery management and allocation of resources seem pretty on-point overall.

Does anyone know if issues like this are fixed in this beta? I’ve got an iPhone 11 Pro Max and a 2018 Chevy Impala. My wife has the same issues and she’s got an iPhone 8 Plus and a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. Both of us are on iOS 13.3 still.

We’re able to plug in our phones and the CarPlay screen comes up. After a couple minutes, the screen goes to the default connect your device type of screen, and any music that was playing continues to play. Apple Maps directions still continues to show the secondary list of directions screen on our phones, like it’s still connected. Our phones are still getting a charged, just nothing on the car’s stereo screen.

Another thing I’ve noticed that might sound unrelated, I use iMazing for local backups and when I connect my iPhone to my MacBook Pro, it shows the USB icon in iMazing and I’m able to start a backup. After a couple minutes, though, that USB icon in iMazing turns into the WiFi icon and the backup starts over. So, I’m just thinking that there’s a correlation here. This started happening to both of us consistently after iOS 13.3 was released. Before that thru to now it seemed to be hit or miss. I’ve got a pretty big road trip planned in the next couple weeks, too...

So my mail is still broken. I always deactivate my inbox from work over the weekend and it still shows me the previously received emails in my „all“ feed. Not really secure either! They should disappear once I deactivate the inbox

The Beta 2 had a huge battery drain on my phone. It was between 10-15% each night while using no apps using and just leaving the phone as it is. Even no push enabled and not connected to Wifi the drain was huge, now it's back to 2-5% per Night (usually 8hrs).

hey mate do you install a clean copy of beta 3, or just upgrade from beta 2 - 3 ??

No improvement on XS here, and the developers drop me a message today. To update till latest version see if help

I wound have thought if you want to delete all traces of an account from your device then you delete the account. Similar to stopping a service in windows doesn’t delete the association with the data.

Found a odd bug on the iPad. When you’re reading something in safari and go to another app then back. Safari jumps the page to a random section. So you loose the place you were at previously. If you do it again at that same spot, the issue doesn’t happen. Only when you’ve manually scroll to a spot or section.

Caught it on video. Reported.

Does this update improve standby drain?

On my iPhone 11Pro its really better- i haven't had any unusual drain so far in Standby.

As I was travelling today, i had my phone connected via cable and used Carplay and Waze. I figured out that my phone got really hot, never experienced this before. Using Google Maps I don't experience it.

Connected on the way back my iPhone8 Plus with iOS 12.1 and used Waze via Carplay- all normal, no hot phone.

So either it's the Waze App or Carplay- or a combination of both in this beta.

There was no drain on any of the last betas on my 11 Pro Max.

i’m curious how many lines of code is iOS? more than 400k? it takes awhile to sift through it all
400k would be very far off. For example, Microsoft Office 2013 has about 45 million lines and Mac OS X Tiger - 85 million (data provided by David McCandless, you can search it on the web). So ye, it is a massive piece of software and a year or two of development is far from enough to iron out everything. Reading on these forums, it seems like people expect that, after a bug is found today, it will be fixed in a new build tomorrow. All updates and changes are planned months ahead (and for sure some are deferred for the next major release) and only urgent security flaws might take bigger priority to what’s already planned.

Found another bug: safari is very unstable with new windows and tabs. I’ve lost all my opened tabs I’ve had for months. This is very disheartening.

I’ve done a restore from a backup from a few days ago just now. No opened tabs.

Man. Anyone else with these odd issues on the iPad?

Another issue I found is going into Twitter or some app causes a random iOS graphic glitch where the resolution is scaled to half the screen.

Anyone also seeing these issues on the iPad?

I’m sure someone else can explain the specifics, but I think a part of iOS/iPadOS 13 is that it’ll take a snapshot of what the app’s doing at the time when you switch apps or go to your home screen. Then when you come back to said app, there’s your screenshot of the app open and in the time your eyes see the app open, it’s able to actually open the app. I think it’s all supposed to be seamless, and it’s glitching out instead. I would assume something like that would happen at any point in time on any of the beta builds.

Interesting insight. I was wondering too. But since this beta it’s been happening a lot. I can still use the app when it happens too. If you change to landscape or portrait or go out and back in the app it fixes itself.

It was happening in other betas too but not as frequent. Makes you wonder if anyone at Apple is also seeing this on their iPads.

Guess I’ll do another reset and restore again.

Another bug I noticed: notifications aren’t working for anyone of my restored apps after a backup and restore. I have to go into each app to get it to work. Smh.

I have seen the second issue. The screen appears to be disoriented, as a quick rotate and rotate back always fixes it for me.

Warning: if you have a lot of safari tabs open or just a few that you’ve been meaning to go back to on the iPad. DON’T DO A RESET AND RESTORE. You’ll loose them all. It seems there is a bug with restoring safari state and new windows. I lost all 50 tabs I had open. Restoring from a older back up didn’t work.

Yeah same here. Just did another reset. Hopefully they fix it next beta.
