Isn’t there a different time out for when it knows you’re paying attention to it? Maybe knowing it’s connection with CarPlay, the time out is longer?

Not sure...tested it a few times and when in Map mode (and me pretty much looking at it), it started fading at 45 seconds and shut off at a minute.

There‘s something wrong in Safari, some pages that can be perfectly opened using macOS 10.15.3 and iOS 13.3.1 cannot be opened due to ssl certificate errors on iOS 13.4 beta 1. Have reported this.

There are also issues with PDF Expert, some PDFs are rendered incorrectly while the same PDF is rendered perfectly on iOS 13.3.1.

I had to downgrade because of this issues, otherwise the beta was really usable.

I want to support your words. I couldn't connect to JetBlue FlyFi due to SSL problem on 13.4 b1. I had access to 5 other devices(3 iPhones, 1 iPad and MacBook ) , all of them connected without any problem.

I’d say this is a bug. 13.3.1 doesn’t have it, and it felt much more natural. Long-pressing a link shouldn’t give Open as the first option, or as an option at all, since we could simply tap the link to open it.

Long-pressing should have Open In Background as first option.

Agree and it's super annoying :(

I was tempted to update to 13.4, but I just went on a week long road trip, and needed to make sure things would still work. Now that I’m back and have been on 13.4 for a few days, I wish I would have updated earlier and tested out CarPlay. The Mail changes are welcomed, but I’m still seeing the bug in mail (iCloud email) when you delete an email and it keeps you in some kind of email limbo where you’re not seeing an email but you can swipe down and see the subject of the email you just deleted. And you can swipe back to get back to the All Inboxes folder. Just filed another radar with a screen recording. I mean, I can consistently replicate this issue over and over.

Anyone Else seeing this

Notifications on lockscreen are messed up. One on top of the either but wierd.

I am having VoWiFi issues with this beta. I can't say for sure if this is my carrier or this beta though, since WiFi Calling stopped working about the time I installed this beta. Hoping the next one takes care of whatever is up, otherwise I will need to speak with my carrier and that is going to be an ordeal with them trying to pin it on Apple and that's it.

Tested out with another SIM from a different carrier. It seems that VoWiFi is not working on one carrier owing to its own problem, not the fault of anything in the beta.

iPad Pro 11.

I took out my iPad from my backpack after a couple hours of not using it. Found it quite hot and with 40% of the battery gone. It‘s the third time it has done it since updating to 13.4b1.

However, today was the first time the iPad got unresponsive and I had to VolUp, VolDn and Power to reboot it.
I picked up my iPad this morning and the battery was 100% drained, even though the screen was off and no apps were running. I checked the battery graph and confirmed nothing was running for most of that time. Sometimes Siri would show up, but it didn’t look like it chewed up any battery.

Which iPad? How old?

I really wish Apple would fix the constant tab refreshes in Safari. Certain websites I use that have a log-in are constantly forcing me to re-log in because the Safari tabs are always re-loading. I never had this problem with iOS 12.
