Do we know for a fact if dark mode actually turns off the pixels? Or does the screen just light them up in a “black color”?

By the way, I’m loving just the plain black background with dark mode turned on.
 
I did a fresh install and imported all my data from the cloud and it did wonders to my device! I always do clean install on major releases like this and than baby upgrades on top of it.


Also anyone else have same issue as me? Can someone answer me this? Why does going into contacts it works like it should where suggested contacts don’t show up? But suggested contacts still show up when you click phone icon and than the plus sigh to look up a contacts? Anyone else have this issue?

Mans it terms if battery life I can only imagine having all black wall paper but I’ll stick to blue and this on my MAX phone

After a clean install, are you able to change contact pics without getting a black screen? I don’t have the issue you mentioned.

No black screen.

Yeh I click phone icon then select contacts and I get suggested contacts pretty much bunch of email addresses I don’t need you know or want to see, but clicking contacts icons The suggested contacts are turned off under group settings icon u know.

Mother wise couple of small bugs here and there but the phone works great!

So from 5 AM 100 percent battery life with 80 percent brightness on every app used non stop Facebook Instagram YouTube etc etc I had battery life all the way to 330 PM and at that point I was at 28 percent before I plugged in and relax!! And I mean I never got off the phone at all. Pics videos sms heavy heavy usage

FWIW: I did an upgrade (not clean install) and changing contact photos works just fine

Social media fab instagram twitter you tube email everything except gaming with brightness set to 80 percent

How are Microsoft trying to make UI less boring in general and how, specifically, are Microsoft trying to make UI less boring on phones and tablets?

That might be relevant in an iOS thread if Microsoft hadn't completely withdrawn from mobile, having failed in the marketplace. That would be more "even Microsoft tried" than "even Microsoft is trying", no?

  • New Safari in-app quick option (AA) to access zoom, toolbar, desktop view, content blocker and website settings for camera, microphone and location

Even with that, I’d still argue live tiles make home screen less boring. Microsoft failed at mobile market is not because of live tiles.

If you press share button do you get at the bottom the more button? And then you should be able the share sheet. If not maybe it’s a bug after your upgrade.

I still can't believe what apple has become.

This is a ridiculous update, it's a joke, it's a disaster.

This is the most pathetic ios update by far. Nothing changed.

Guess what. Nothing changed on ios 12 tho.

Looks to me you just registered here to bitch about everything Apple does. If that is what your life has come to, to just bitch, I feel sorry for you.
