I am having serious LTE Calling issues. 1st or 2nd call fails. 3rd call goes through. Even receiving calls is not reliable. Phone directly shows missed call notification without ringing. My operator is Jio (India) and is VoLTE only.

Known issue. Currently no fix. Optional solution would be to turn off LTE and go to 3G, but this doesn’t work for me.

I just installed iOS 13 for the first time yesterday and it’s amazing. It’s very smooth and fast. Faceid unlocks so fast now! I have any iPhone X. Here are the issues I’ve found which I’ve submitted feedback for

1.photos/videos/attachments do not show up under info under a contact on iMessage. It’s a black screen.

2.iCloud email trash folder does not delete any of the emails.

3.when in silent mode using the silent switch, when using the up/down ringer buttons the volume does not go up or down nor does it show up on lock screen.

Other than this, great beta and battery life is top notch

Issue I am having is that my XS Max won't display the prompt to trust my computer.

I have been through all the troubleshooting including resetting the privacy settings. But nothing has worked. All worked fine on Beta 1 and Catalina Beta 1. But Beta 2 seems to have broken something.

Edit - Appears this is a Catalina issue. I just connected to my Wife's computer which is on Mojave and the trust/don't trust pop up came up.

I had to reset Location settings to get the trust prompt

Hmmm, I’m in 2 minds. Maybe you guys can tell me what you think?

1. Install iOS 13 beta 2 on a spare iPhone 7 (never used) just to mess around.

Or

2. Install iOS 13 beta 2 on my daily driver iPhone X.

What say you peeps?
Go for the X, no show stopping bugs so far. Just take the normal precautions. Back up and archive the backup. Have a latest stable firmware ipsw ready.

I'm really sad about beta 2. Beta 1 worked so well for me, and yes there were many bugs that now have been fixed. But my device is overheating really often and battery is draining so quickly after the update.

Anyone else has gotten these problems?

Nope. Came directly from 12.4. Reboot your device a few times. It might be glitching like mine was the first day with iCloud syncing.

This is not abnormal, for a beta. Have you tried a hard reset?

Has there been a change to how Slide Over works in iOS/iPadOS 13? (Aside from being able to switch between apps)?
I'm struggling to be able to get rid of a "slid over" application, I used to just slide it to the right but that seems not to be working now.

Tried that. Finally solved the issue.

For some reason Beta 2 of Catalina had disabled this section. Once I enabled this the device appeared in the sidebar. I could then click pair on my Mac and that brought up the trust prompt.

Will update the original post on the issue.

Well this confirms it. This beta isn’t the reason why the XS Max WiFi drops in medium signals areas the XS Max antennas just really suck vs the XR.

I had a few bugs in beta 1. Few crashes. Wasn’t too bad, definitely usable.

Beta 2, at least for me, has had way less bugs, is generally faster, and haven’t had any crashes yet.

Disabled iCloud photos and from 60ish GB it jumped to over 80GB. More than this suddenly iCloud shows 70GB (full size) and there’s no way it was downloaded all.
Any suggestions?

My Halifax one is doing exactly the same, the in app keyboard disappears and there’s no way to get it back.

Adam.

Yep. No way to type anything, I’m actually annoyed about this as I use the app regularly... :( if I had known this I wouldn’t have updated to beta 2. Arghhh!!!

Someone using Watch OS 6 B2 on a Series 4? how is the beta, is usable for day to day? "personal use"

It’s ok for daily use but it does have a few bugs here and there. For example I woke up this morning and the screen stayed off, yet the watch was responding to buttons just fine, I felt the haptic touch when holding down the power button and vibrations from notifications.

Some complications seem to have issues refreshing. Otherwise those are the only things I’ve noticed since I upgraded from watchOS 5 yesterday.

File this under interesting. Just updated an iPad Pro 10.5 inch to iOS 13 beta 2. In the home app it showed “Apple TV not responding”. The home app also showed the Apple TV Hub being not connected. Everything looked fine from the Apple TV end and I even looked at another iOS device on IOS 13 beta 2 and the home app there looked fine. I tried a number of things for about 20 minutes without any success. Then after just putting everything aside for about five minutes music starts playing on the Apple TV and I found it it was now all working. The Apple TV hub was connected and the Apple TV was responding.
Possible moral of the story: After updating your device, just keep it plugged in and let it index itself for a while.
