Man, you are having a lot of issues. I can't recall, but are you one of the people who installed using the Windows tool?
No windows. IPSW and then OTA for beta 2.

But actually not so many issues. I had my library screwed up but that’s a given having more than 125k photos inside. But that was fixed.
Now the only big issue is hotspot not working. I hate it but it was I who chose to go beta way so I can’t complain.

To get all your open apps swipe up from the bottom center of the screen, just after passing the dock turn straight left or right. App switcher will appear.

Same motion as is used on the X series phones.

I hope that makes sense!

looks like it was a bug. a reboot fixed it. thx tho!

Is it just me or is it harder to swipe up to get to the home screen on older iPads? Like it’s not as sensitive. My 10.5 Pro I have to usually make more than one attempt. iOS 12 I rarely had an issue.

There’s a home button for that, yes, but I have never used it since the new UI for the iPads were designed with the new gestures. It’s nice and I like it that way. Home button is only used for Touch ID. Never pressed.

Guys my hotspot is not working. Visible and everything but can’t connect. Mac, android and other iPhones.

Anyone? Any hints what can be done to make it work. I also noticed that turning hotspot on (make discoverable) in control center it’s not kept. Going back and retuning to same screen the setting is back to not discoverable.

Made a screen recording but can’t upload

Essentially: Get your bug reports in before beta 3 comes out because at that point, they're not going to be able to do too much to change the direction of iOS 13. Mainly geared towards feature requests, I think.

I'm sure he was ordered to take down the tweet. That was as much inside baseball as I've ever seen an Apple employee reveal below the Senior VP level. And then it got retweeted by Steve Troughton Smith. I'm sure senior Apple people saw immediately. I would actually worry for this guy's job, to be honest.
Just an FYI, that tweet that you linked was from June 4 of 2018.

Can’t find this but think it’s been noted:
Can’t save photos attached to emails to the Photos app.

Reminders issue. Non upgraded database.
My old recurring reminders that also have a location associated with it don’t work correctly. It is not supposed to use the location attribute of the reminder until after the associated date.
Instead it ignores the date and activates at the location.

You probably nailed it, though with your reference to a non-updated database.

Also if a nickname has been placed in a contact that's the name that shows up for imessage previews.
You can change this is the Contact settings and untick the preference if Nicknames are available.

Has anyone’s system files suddenly go up for no reason after installing iOS 13?

It went from 18 GB used to 27 GBs used

Observing a ballooning "Other" storage here as well.

Yeah me too. When I checked it in response to the earlier post, I was at about 5 GB. Large but not alarming. Now, 3 hours or so later, I’m at 18 GB. That’s a bit, er, unusual.

Edit: and a restart dropped it to 13.2 GB. Odd...
