iPhone iOS 13 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Messages not loading consistently for me. Also, sent messages are being sent but do not appear in sent mail folder. Cannot delete messages either. This is all with iCloud.

And I thought maybe iCloud goes better and it’s gmail not going well. But I guess it’s a generic app issue in the end. Off topic: still hate no push on gmail; this might be last drop to switch to iCloud and at least benefit from the seamless integration.

What is not working? The only thing that I can see that is a little flaky is the count. It doesn't update when your in an email and you delete it. But when I go to the list it is updated. Everything else works the same for me.

Same here... in B1 it was really bad, to the point where I had to stop using it and install outlook for a while.... but in B2 the only issue is the badge count which I could live with.

The location icon is shown a LOT in my status bar on the Max. Anyone else?

Right now it seems to be due to Google Maps for example which isn’t even running

How does one update from 12.3 to iOS 13 if my Mac is already on Catalina B2. I cannot get my Mac to find my iPhone in the finder.....

Ensure your iPhone is unlocked, and ensure in Finder Preferences that CDs, DVDs, and iPods is checked under Locations.

I updated to iOS 13 beta 2 version but the generic apps are not installing. The famous cloud symbol. I tried everything from checking in settings like switching off offloading apps, trying to re install from App Store and also from iPhone storage in settings and even erased and reinstalled as new phone etc. Still not sure why the problem and what should I do now. Uploading the screen shot. Any advise is appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Check for Update and Restore iPhone button are not working for me, even holding the Option key to select the IPSW doesn't work.

Not one that I've experienced first hand. I did have a "passcode required after restart" one morning.

I tried to recreate this as I didn’t know you could rearrange photos but I can’t seem to recreate it. When I touch a picture it pops into a submenu with options such as delete, can’t seem to drag them around.

Happens in albums.

For me its hit or miss if it activates, on either settings of Sunrise to sunset or custom schedule.

Strange! I’ve had tons of resprings on beta 1 on my Xs max. On beta 2 I’ve had a couple already after an hour of use. Strange how an “identical” device can have such a different behaviour...

I just started getting them on my iPad Pro 11. It took a few days after installing Beta 2 (I skipped Beta 1) but I’ve had about 5 resprings in the last 2 days.

Strange! I’ve had tons of resprings on beta 1 on my Xs max. On beta 2 I’ve had a couple already after an hour of use. Strange how an “identical” device can have such a different behaviour...

No resprings on B2 either. Have installed it last Monday.

Saw that too today. I used calculator in landscape mode, then quickly switched to portrait and it looked like that.

I have to say, a couple of bugs here and there, nothing groundbreaking. Its really stable and fluid for a early major beta. I wonder what apple has in stock for beta 3 when they warn us in the release notes that its too unstable and thrill seekers should wait for improvements in the public beta lol

You can swipe the top and bottom bar away in safari and it'll stay locked like that when scrolling until you tap it again. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's new in iOS 13.
