I don’t have any problems with my iCloud syncing. Only thing that doesnt sync between my iPhone X with iOS 12 and iPad Pro with iPadOS are my Notes that i created on the iPad. They doesn’t show on my iOS 12 devices. Notes created on my iPhone with iOS 12 do show on my iPad with iPadOS though.

iCloud Tabs would not be working between iOS 12 and 13. Are they?

On my Mac with Mojave and phone with iOS 13, iCloud Tabs stopped working. Now I am on Catalina beta and iCloud Tabs are back.

Same every year I'm afraid. My theory is that the beta iOS and macOS iCloud functionality gets segregated from mainstream so they can freely alter data structures and so on, without impacting release versions. Definitely a bit inconvenient if you're prepared to go beta on one side and not the other.

For me, usually, the core functions have always worked just fine. The nice-to-have's are the ones that have occasionally taken the brunt when on betas - such as iCloud Tabs.

On the whole, being on iOS betas with the Mac system being release version is a more stable deal for me than being on both iOS and macOS betas at once. Wonder why.:p

I could not take Mojave betas on my 2016 MBP and iOS betas on my iPhone together. iCloud sync issues galore. Things worked with Mac on 10.13.6 whereas the iPhone on beta was no issue. Now, I am currently on a MacBook Air 2017 and gingerly running Catalina beta, while my phone is perennially on the latest beta available (currently iOS 13 beta 2). What I use my systems for is playing well together for the moment.

My iPhone are always on beta but my mac will always be on release version because I use it for business and work.

However, how’s Catalina on MBA 2017?

Hardware is well supported and no issues with hardware. Everything that is buggy boils down to software alone. Such as Launchpad not reflecting third party apps. There is a way to resolve this, but you get the drift, there are software bugs that might be a show stopper depending on your unique personal workflow with your machine.

For my uses, I had to go back to Mojave, and came back with Catalina beta 2 which is my daily driver without issues (for my workflow). I do not use special software, the few third party apps I use work without issues. I use my computer to browse and type - digital marketer here.

Screenshots don’t get saved.

Yes, sometimes they do not. This has happened to me with both 12.3 and 12.4 betas as well as iOS 13 betas 1 and 2, occasionally. I have now resorted to checking if it got saved if the screenshot is of some importance to me. This does not happen on the release version (12.3 as well as 12.3.1).

Anyone else having 'optimise battery health' seemingly not working? Not sure how long it takes to figure out my usage but I haven't noticed it holding at 80% yet, just charges straight to 100. iPhone 8, tried wired and wireless.

Same for me.

Same, iPhone X.

Ok at least it's not just me.

Edit: tried to submit feedback and got an error, will try again later.

does it mean public beta coming up?

It seems like the embargoes on the public beta stories are starting to drop, so I assume all public betas are dropping today?
