whoa I wonder if its the same build as Dev Beta 2? although it's stable, it does have a few quirks which make it not ideal for PB

Teevee 3 is king imo.
Just tried it. Added 4 shows, 2 of which I've finished. There's no quick list to only see what is coming up or only see what I still have to watch. Game of Thrones is marked as completely watched, yet it stays right there on the main screen along with Jessica Jones which I'm not completely caught up on. So there's no way for me to know I'm caught up on GoT but not Jessica Jones.

So I'm deleting it within 2 minutes of use. I'll stick with TV Time. It makes more sense, is rated wayyy higher, and is updated very frequently.

Possibly tomorrow if not then next week
I'd bet on next week, if not the week after — early dev betas for a major release tend to stay on a 2-3 week cycle until they get close to the final release, when they ramp up to weekly betas (or occasionally multiple betas in a week).

How to jump from Developer beta 2 to Public beta? I removed Dev beta profile, restarted, then installed public beta profile from https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/, restarted again.
There is no update.
I believe others have mentioned that the initial public beta build is the same as developer beta 2, so there would in fact be nothing to update.

There's nothing to jump to, they are the same build.

Why do people every year seem to think dev and public betas are different builds? Public betas are just released later in case an issue crops up on the dev beta.

If you want to make sure you always have the latest build, stay on the dev-betas. The public betas are always the same build as the latest dev-beta. Period.

But why? If you already have access to the Dev Profile, why move to the public profile? Public will never get something first before devs have tested so there is zero advantage.

Maybe stupid question, but I might try the 13 public beta on my iPad but I’m still on 12.4 betas. Do I just delete that profile and then install the public 13 profile?

Yes, that will do it. As soon as you do that (and the 2 required restarts!), you'll be prompted to download DP2 OTA.

Back up, back up, back up!!!

With the changes in the backend architecture of Reminders, more important than usual.
