Mail in PB2 on iPhone X has been doing some bizarre things. General IMAP setup to a web host. I sent one mail out to a colleague to which they replied. However the sent email completely disappeared. It doesn't exist anymore, anywhere. I sent another to someone else last night. I don't know if they received anything, but that email completely evaporated as well, cant find it anywhere. So I wrote another and sent that. Worked fine. Never happened to me before.

Things work quite fine with my iPad 6 and iPhone X. What I really am liking is the smaller icons. I can fit a lot more on my home screen now.

Battery certainly has taken a hit for me, both on my iphone X and my apple watch series 4. I hope that further betas will improve the situation. Especially the watch is draining battery quite a lot. Just now after wearring it from 100% for 1 hour and only checking like 3-4 notifications during that timespan it has dropped to 96% already....

Just to be sure, you face the same issues I described on top of what you said in your quote? Because you say "same on iPad" but then proceed to describe a different issue than the one I mentioned. Thanks.
You said Siri wasn't responding, & I said with the new iPadOS Siri, Siri took about 1 minute to respond.
it's called adding fuel to the fire of discontent.

Do hope these are visual bugs & not as intended. iPhone X

No scroll bar in safari when in dark mode.

The blue text saying Open or Update in App update section is nearly impossible to read when in dark mode. This needs to be tweaked or changed to white text imo.

Reported to Apple via feedback app.

Hi, are you having any issues with the Barclays app? I installed the app onto ios13 beta 1, and I’ve not been able to enable Face ID on my Xs for it, does yours work fine?

Thanks,
Adam.

Hiya Adam.

Yes problems here too , exactly how you describe. My Nationwide app works fine , but Barclays is currently a no go on this beta for me too.
I remember the same problem last year when iOS 12 betas.

From memory it wasn’t until about beta 4 when I could start to use Barclays app again.

Cheers

Same issue with the scroll bar not visible in dark mode!
Blue text under App update section is of a lighter shade of blue for me than the picture you posted!!!

Thats an odd one isn’t it. Then again maybe not so odd considering betas. What phone are you testing on ?

The blue text on my mail in dark mode is light , just the app update screen.

Cheers

I’ve had amazing luck beta testing since iOS 7 back in 2013. Not anything major this year. Just a glitch with predictive text not always working on my keyboard. Literally, that is all. Dark mode is amazing. Maps are solid. Battery life hasn’t taken a hit. I feel like this is a solid beta. I’m on the iPhone XR.

so i have an older iMac on High Sierra still and i wasn’t gonna upgrade Reminders on PB 1 since it says that my Mac needs to be on the latest OS to sync. i was gonna continue to use Fantastical so that it would still work. well i tried it just to see...does anyone know if they will function on my iMac at all now? i’m sure the Reminders app itself won’t sync, but something like Fantastical?

I’m not sure. It probably depends on whether the Reminders “engine” powers Fantastical’s reminder function.

Turn off increase contrast under accessibility - display and text size.

Still it is a bug but works for better readability at the moment.

Is the app not working at all for you? The app works fine in my experience it’s just TouchID/FaceID not working and requiring the passcode to log in.

Major bug, when using Dual Sim, I have my personal sim as the physical sim, and esim is my business line. Particularly when texting an imessage number, it defaults back to my personal line even though I select business line. The only solution to this is disable the personal line when sending message and turn it back on after. Ironically this does not happen with a non imessage number, I have tried turning imessage on and off and does not help.

Also when making a call or picking up a call signal strength goes it one bar even when full bars are available.

Anybody knows the limitations of mouse support? Can I use gestures and 3 buttons on mouse? Are they supported?

You can use gaming mouse with crazy amount of buttons but no gesture support for Apple Magic Mouse sadly. This feature is not designed for users to replace touch control with mouse control like on a desktop.

Thanks. Do we actually need more than two buttons under iPad OS?

Anyone else experiencing this with iPhone X.

Go to watch app on phone , select My Faces & if you have a Siri watch face set up select it. There is no list for Siri watch face data sources or 3rd party data sources.

So you can’t select what you want to appear on Siri watch face (Apple Watch 4)

Cheers

after installing public beta 1 apparently the low volume in the default ringtone for iPhone x , and the message sound echo has been fixed.
Also there is a animation in network signal when it tries to find( like after rebooting)
