Not trolling at all. I have a tvOS 4th gen hd which has had the first public beta installed. I checked for updates and it started downloading an update and now is stuck the Apple update screen no more progress on the bar
I would tell you to just unplug and plug in again and see what happens, but maybe you should just wait another half hour to see if it makes a difference.

View attachment 846421 View attachment 846422 With my phone locked and the screen off, pressing the volume keys when mute is on results in haptic feedback. With the screen on, I get haptic feedback and the little box sliding down from the top of the screen. Same if phone is unlocked.

Interestingly, this would imply that with mute off, the volume keys would work whether the phone is locked (screen on or screen off) or unlocked. Testing shows this to be the case. Hmm.

Definitely different behaviour between Touch ID and Face ID devices regarding haptics.

That is the ringer UI which even I have. I thought the standard volume control UI changed for you. :)

The bar has moved further now Nearly at the end. I’m gonna leave it and check the build once or if it finishes. If it doesn’t I’ll just get a usb c cable and restore it.

CarPlay seems to be working better for me in beta 3. It's connecting on the first try, where before in beta 2 it would take 2-3 tries before it finally connected.

iPhone X and Pioneer MVH-1400NEX

Same here on my 19 RAV4

No it is super washed out, I still have my wife’s iPhone that’s on 12.3.1 and it is nowhere near as washed out as it is on iOS 13 B3. I’ll edit this post and attach a screenshot shortly here.

I believe you but on my iPhone X and iPad Pro 2018 they have the same color as in previous versions. Nothing is washed out.

I’m finding battery pretty good on beta 3 with the iPP 10.5 (cellular model) as well.

5.5 hours screen on time with 11.5 hours of standby and I’m now on 44%.

I don’t think Apple was kidding around when they told thrill seekers (their words, not mine) to sit this one out. Sounds like they knew there were going to be significant issues throughout the process.

i’m sure it’s been noticed by now but there is a handy lil Control Center shortcut for the Feedback app now

Periodic reminder to obfuscate credit card usage info on images you post. Why give bad elements any more tools to steal from you? That is not meant to be seen by anyone other than you.
Agreed, but pretty much everyone’s credit card information is available to those willing to pay for it. It is one reason banks almost always cover fraudulent charges with little to no questions asked.

Anyone having problems with swiping up to jump to the homescreen? I haven't been able to do this gesture since beta1. Sorry if this has been mentioned already.

Nice. I’m still surprised there’s not an article on tvOS or macOS, unless they just did an update to yesterday’s post and didn’t move it up on the front page. Thanks for letting us know!

No I problem the update bar did get stuck but lost patience and pulled the power and it rebooted ok. I am surprised as you are that no mention of public beta being out and only knew as I went to the check update page and it said I had an update.

3D Touch seems to still be disabled in most places? Long-press is utilised instead. I figured from the comments from Craig on this topic that this was not intended, 3D Touch will stay on devices supporting it but yet I'm forced into long-press on my iPhone Xs Max and I have to admit I didn't really notice how much I prefer and enjoy 3D Touch over long-press until I was forced into using long-press. It just feels like a delayed and not optimised version of 3D Touch.

I guess 3D Touch isn't used all that much, but why would Apple remove it in the coming phones when long-press feels so sluggish in comparison? It's like they are dobling down own using context-menus at the same time as they are planning on making the entire feature feel far less optimised in the coming phones if the rumours about removing 3D Touch proves to be legit. I suppose these BETA's pretty much confirms it at this point.

It's actually added in quite a few places now...Safari links, messages, music, photos, control center, app store, news, press keyboard for cursor, and probably more that I haven't noticed. The only place I'm actually missing it is the home screen icons. The difference there is you get the haptic feedback but the menu doesn't pop till you remove your finger. Hopefully that will come with a future beta.

I may have just discovered this, but when viewing the lyrics for a song (stored locally at least), the background blurs the album art (or its colors) and flows like a motion wallpaper. Works better on songs with no lyrics.

search is bringing up nothing and I can't believe I haven't been looking for this sooner...how do I initiate the call forward feature for numbers not in contacts? Can't find it anywhere.

EDIT: NEVERMIND!
