iPhone iOS 13 Beta 3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I’ve got It on 3 devices. Nothing major on any of them.
Couple of smaller things a little better (CarPlay, iMessage app organization) and nothing worse than db2 for me so far on an XS Max and 9.7 iPP. It is definitely not the worse beta of all time*

iCloud Drive is being really weird. Numbers keeps freezing up on me (especially with a shared doc) and iCloud keeps showing weird duplicates of my Numbers files. It also won’t let me use the ➕➖✖️➗ buttons on the QuickType bar above the soft keyboard when doing equations. Very strange.
My NAS also doesn’t show up in files anymore either. Let’s me log in without error but doesn’t show in the sidebar. Worked fine on Beta 2.

That hopefully means it’ll get fixed instead of there being something wrong with my files. The item count under the folders are also one more than the actual contents of the folder (in most folders). When I open the folder the count is correct near the bottom.
So, I updated at the last minute because my internet had been down and was going out of town. Now my CarPlay doesn’t work (was working on beta 2). Before when I plugged in it would always prompt me which was annoying but now it doesn’t prompt (which is good like it use to do) and auto connects but all I get is a black screen. I do get some audio passes through but nothing else. Anyone else getting only a black screen on the radio for CarPlay?
Did anyone else lose VoLTE with B3? I’ve got AT&T eSIM and AT&T SIM, no VoLTE option on either line anymore.
Everything appears fine on my iPhone which isn’t running the beta so I’m not too concerned. Catalina on my MacBook Pro gave me a new ‘Documents 2’ folder and my ‘Documents’ folder isn’t visible nor openable via the menu bar shortcut in Finder (CMD-Shift-O). On my other MacBook Pro running High Sierra I still have my ‘Documents’ folder. Contents are the same in both folders so it’s just some really weird iCloud bugs going on with these betas. Haven’t yet tried to see what happens when I add files to my High Sierra MacBook document folder to see if they propagate over to the ‘Documents 2’ folder. Hopefully in the fall it’ll all work itself out and I’ll be able to delete the ‘Documents 2’ folder or it will just go away on its own.
So glad that they have added some more options for the mouse. Now, I need a reverse scrolling with my scroll wheel.
Need to send feedback for this!!! I can not stand their "natural" scrolling behavior - absolutely hate it!
Interesting I have not seen a single report of missing date/time on iPad home screen (left side status bar not lock screen). Reboot and its fine until you launch an app. Then you see it only in apps and not on the home screen anymore until another reboot. Appears in apps fine just home screen is where it drops. Anyone else seen this?
[Edit] So this morning I was about to reset all settings on iPad to see if this would correct the issue since apparently no one else is having it, and when powered on iPad the issue has not appeared again. So far its been working fine. ????????

My wife got home with her 2019 Ford Edge and I tested my DP3 XsMax CarPlay... and it worked perfectly... connected right away all three times that I tested it... could be an issue with the Alpine ILX-107 head unit in my MX-5.
If you are beta testing apps via TestFlight, the Automatic Download feature will force App Updates that will replace beta with release build.
It's really worth sending a report on a fault like that. Not because of anything you say in the report ("CarPlay doesn't work in my Mazda") but because there's almost certainly something specific in the logs you'll upload in Feedback that says what the issue was at connection time. It's much more diagnosable and actionable than something like badges being the wrong shade of red or touch response being off in some way.
