Serious question, what's the point of smart invert colours if we have dark mode?
Bro both xender and shareit are not workingTry ShareIt
It’s a bug. The workaround is to sign out of iCloud and then sign back in.Just upgraded to iOS 13 on an iPhone XS Max and damn its quick, however settings keeps indicating "Software update" with the "1" notification but there are no updates available. Any ideas?
Battery life on my IPP 11" is horrific on this revised beta 3. Went from 100% to 35% with zero usage between 9am and 2pm today. Was having issues yesterday after installing (but held my tongue as I waited for re-indexing to complete). I don't usually kill apps, but I'm going to do so to see if something is running rogue.
Yes. Same thing.Anyone have issues when they’re is a misspelled word and when it turns red you tap on it to correct it, but instead what shows up is select/select all.
Although Smart Invert is designed as an Accessibility feature, prior to iOS 13 I used it all the time as the closest alternative to Dark Mode.
I had hoped to be able to stop on iOS 13, as we were led to believe it would be a system wide dark mode for all Apple apps and UI with the addition of the Developer Kit too.
It isn’t the case at this stage in the Beta.
Safari still has a white background and has already been debated on here.
The one that really frustrates me though is Apple News which is an embarrassment at the moment with no consistency whatsoever.
The main screen starts off looking great in Dark Mode but as soon as you select any article it’s back to a White Background so it’s pointless.
In PB1, I went back to using Smart Invert - suffering the Whiteness of the main screen to allow me to read articles with a Dark background.
On PB2 Smart Invert is broken as I’ve found that when I exit Apple News and try to turn it off it won’t disable and I have to restart the phone to switch off Smart Invert.
Hopefully Smart Invert will be fixed in the next Beta for Accessibility users and I’m really hoping by the time we get to GM and release that Apple will implement Dark backgrounds throughout Apple News and Safari because it’s a mess at the moment.
Mine seems to have stabilized. Perhaps it was just a prolonged re-indexing or perhaps one of the apps I force closed was the culprit. The battery on mine seems to be decent. Not great, but not the nightmare you describe. I was able to install around 5pm yesterday and even with some medium gaming for about 45 minutes, I'm only down to 84% this morning.
Ah, so the download starts but you seem to get nowhere? Does sound like either Apple or the Mobile Provider are shaping, blocking or throttling there. Any way you can hop on wifi somewhere to check?
As stated before, each individual page must be updated by the host to support dark mode.
I almost entirely forgot; as soon as my iPad and iPhone got on my wifi, they started downloading. So I'm wondering if there's some blocking going on. I could see Apple doing it since they won't allow OTAs over cellular, I assume to prevent slower, possibly corrupt downloads from occurring.
Even in 3rd Beta, email is broken, that's very frustrating.opened mail, and it looked like my sync problem was solved. Wrong... opened it again and got errors. Dang
This will be a hot mess until iOS 13 SDK apps are approved shortly before the public release of iOS 13 in mid-September. I hope they give magazine and other publications an easy tool to "dark mode" articles appearing in Apple News+. Its one thing for app developers with the tools provided in the iOS 13 SDK in XCode. Its another thing for publishers...As stated before, each individual page must be updated by the host to support dark mode.
I’m starting to think my XS Max hates me. Had 20 resprings today. Two in the last hour.
Still Email is frustrating. Syncing and All Inbox display has been big mess.Email for me does seem to download a lot faster etc. I haven’t checked the syncing issues yet
For the first time, since Beta 1, I was able to download the stock apps that I deleted from my iPhone XR from the App Store. On Monday this was not possible.
This has been a commonly reported issue. But report it to Apple so they can judge the extent and get logs that may help them fix this.Anyone else not receiving calls? My wife is going off her nut because her calls keep going to voicemail.
