iOS is good. iPad OS is still far too buggy and not progressing much. I am starting to think iOS13 will be released with the iPhone, while iPad OS will be delayed.

Ran into this on my XS Max:

When I check my Apple ID there is only one phone number associated to it.

Now if I trace my number to my Google contacts (only Contacts active in Accounts) there are additional phone numbers (work). Anyone know where this is pulling from?

I had this issue and it was never resolved. I check my Message settings to make sure only one number was selected since I do have multiple numbers under my Apple ID. This happened right after I signed into another device with a different number so I stopped receiving that prompt in the Message app if I wanted to share my contact with others.

Have 2 Apple ID’s. AID 1 - RMB (2016), IPP(PB7), XS Max (PB7). AID 2 - IPP (12.4)
This warning is only appearing on my PB7 devices.

.
IPP 12.9 G2 PB7
Yes, it’s Mail.
Have only one GMail account hooked to Mail on this device.
It won’t load anything newer than Aug 16 2019.
The same account is part of the crowd on my XS Max (PB7) where it correctly displays the emails.

Going to give it overnight and see what happens.

I found a fix. Go to Send & Receive in the Message setting, sign out of the Apple ID and sign back in.

Bug I've noticed, try to open an app in Messages that is not currently present on the app bar (i.e scroll to the right to open the sheet with all apps), try to open an app from there and it will not load.

Reported to Apple

Something is wonky with notification center on my iPhone Xs Max. Notifications from Telegram for instance are staying in the notification center after messages have been read within the app.

Still an issue with a Long Press on the App Store to select Updates.

It’s random whether it takes you directly to the Updates panel (as it should) or to the Today view.

EDIT: This needs to be a priority fix for Apple now that they’ve chosen to remove Updates from the App Store dock as it’s the only quick way to get there now, so it needs to be consistent in operation.

Mail. Oh dear. I made a joke a day or two ago wondering how Apple would screw it up in the next beta, and now I think they're trolling me.

My phone played a sound notification saying I had new mails. Great! I lift the phone to wake the screen and ... nothing. Odd. So I unlock, and the Mail icon has no badge. Hmm. Before opening it I want to test. So I lock the phone again and repeat the raise to wake. No mails. I scroll up and - tada! "Notifications" followed by a compressed list of my emails.

Unlock again and still no badge icon. Grr. Log Feedback moaning about their crappy Mail app. As I'm typing (well, ok, swiping) more mails come in. So I lock, lift to wake, and ... nothing. Scroll up and there are the new mails. Unlock and ... Mail app correctly has a badge icon saying I have 6 new mails. I open Mail, and the display (for once!) is correct. Six new mails at the top, all showing as unread, and all listed above the previously read mails.

I continue writing my Feedback request but mention that although the lockscreen notifications are wonky, the lack of badge may have been a one-off.

I hope so, cos mail notifications not working would be a show-stopper for using iOS13 for me.

Now to update my "phone oascillates between WiFi and 4G during FaceTime audio calls" Feedback with "still happening".

Ok I don’t mean to be that guy but I can see a significant improvement in launching stock apps and navigating through menus. Anyone else notice this?

Yup, mail is back to behaving awkwardly with this release. Doesn't give notifications as it's supposed to do, new e-mails are showing at the bottom instead of at the top even though my settings are set to them being delivered at the top etc..

What automations are you referring to? Pardon the ignorance, but I missed previous discussions about the automations. Are these Shortcut or HomeKit automations or something else?

I am referring to the automation tab in Shortcuts. The HomeKit automations (oddly perhaps) never disappeared.
