Is anyone having problems with the App Store Notification badge not showing up when there are app updates? I have had this problem for the last 3 betas. I have reported it twice. I have tried everything to get it to work.

If you have Automatic Updates turned on (I don’t personally) it’s been assumed by others on the forum to be a design choice by Apple for iOS 13 to avoid unnecessary screen clutter.

After all, most with Automatic Updates enabled just want to, ‘set it and forget it’.

Still not able to search for non-iCloud files in Files (e.g., Dropbox or OneDrive-based files). The only thing search seems to pick up are items in the “Recent” classification.

Has anyone noticed that the "Communication Limits" menu under "Settings > Screen Time" is missing. I had that menu on an earlier build, but now it's not showing. :(

Decided to update my apps before I did the PB7 OTA.
Can we say - WTH?!? AutoUpdate is definitely broken.
1. No badges on App
2. No badges on account in App
3. Shows number of apps pending
4. Shows number of apps pending after manual refresh
5. Shows apps have been pending for well over a week.

on what?

Not seeing that on my XS Max ...

My apps update just fine, no issues. iPhone XS.

Just received an email (yay, lucky me!) - got notification sound and mail shows in notification centre, but no badge on Mail app icon. I toggled notification settings for Mail off/on but still no badge. I updated my Feedback request to note that this is not a one-off.

However, I've noticed my Feedbacks, even for such items as "Messages crashes when 3d touching a contact photo" is showing as having no similar reports, despite the fact I know other people have logged this. Even the old Firefox in Catalina bug despite having thousands of instances (according to the Bugzilla) and with Apple acknowledging the bug and fixing it in the latest beta is still in status "open". It seems they're not bothering to read my Feedback requests or update them. I think I'm going to stop creating them as it's a waste of my time. I prefer to waste it posting here :)

Pin and download still missing in Files. Pretty safe to say this one got scrubbed from release I think.

Here's something I found. When using Safari and search using Google meaning just typing in the search bar and clicking a link, it opens to a blank page that's scrollable. The only way I've found to see what's there is to open reading view.

anyone else experience this?

iOS is good. iPad OS is still far too buggy and not progressing much. I am starting to think iOS13 will be released with the iPhone, while iPad OS will be delayed.

Yes, slideover (among other things) is a hot mess on my iPP 12.9” 2018. The mail app has been fine up until dev beta 8 for me, it now freezes and crashes randomly. Having said that, dev beta 8 is rather smooth on my Xs!

I am referring to the automation tab in Shortcuts. The HomeKit automations (oddly perhaps) never disappeared.
I have a bad feeling that the upcoming neat feature to enable/disable HomePod when light actions take place etc. will also be put on hold in final release. I’m really looking forward for that HomeKit feature.

When did they add During Bedtime in Notification Center?

The reports have to be manually flagged or tied to other issues.

Trying to view images from thumbnails in this forum isn’t working. Pop-up closes immediately. Tried rebooting (which took forever, almost panicked), but didn’t help.
Not seeing that issue on a 6S Plus.

I experience a cellular bug since beta 7 where I leave the WiFi area but I would not have any data from cellular. Using airplane mode did not fix but I have to either restart or network reset the device.
Are you using a VPN? I had that issue on iOS 11.

Yes, it’s Mail.
Have only one GMail account hooked to Mail on this device.
It won’t load anything newer than Aug 16 2019.
The same account is part of the crowd on my XS Max (PB7) where it correctly displays the emails.

Going to give it overnight and see what happens.

After an overnight I am seeing new emails but all emails from Aug 16 through Aug 21 are missing. The emails show fine in the browser or on my XS Max.

Going to try the remove account then add account back in ...

I'm not seeing any reports but is anyone else having abysmal cellular internet connectivity on Public Beta 7? Wifi seems to work fine but cellular is terrible. I have full bars, am not over my GB limit, and have restarted and reset network connections. Signal where I'm at is good because my work phone is connecting just fine (and mine did where I'm at before the last two betas).
