How’s the battery life in this beta compared to ios 12.4?

It works for me. I don't get overly concerned about battery life, so long as I can get through the day - which has been the case since I installed DP3. I can easily get through the day with power to spare... so I am satisfied with the battery life on the iOS 13 betas.

PS. If you got dark mode enabled then the best way to determine if private browsing is enabled is to check the color of bottom icons? Blue normal and white private.

Switched back from Outlook to Mail again and it’s not that bad anymore. Some emails are ugly in the dark mode when the background is white. :)

The web version of Outlook on the PC has that same issue. Quite glaring...

That's on the formatting of the sender really. There is nothing the mail app can do about it as the sent email wasnt set up to adapt to different themes (obviously a lot more complex than I understand but that's the gist as I understand it).

Finally got around to installing this beta on my backup device. I think they are getting better with the email notifications issue that's been an issue this entire beta process. I do get notified of the email, but the actual badge doesn't show up until I open the email app and it downloads the email(s) that came in. Not sure what's causing the issue with the email(s) not downloading until the app is open and it connects. Once they get that solved, I think we're in the clear. This only applies to Exchange for me.

Doesn't everyone realize that beta builds aren't necessarily sequentially better than the last? Sometimes they are just trying a new feature to see how that works. Maybe it breaks something else that they'll work on compatibility later... It's not really a constant refining process and 9 times out of ten, they are aware of all the broken stuff

Actually, I’m referring to editing a draft email in Outlook. For some reason, it reverts to a standard, light mode when editing an existing draft. It seems to handle other themes well, even in dark mode. Not really relevant here, though, as this is on a pc.

I’m seeing many calendar events duplicating.

For me it’s just the automatic birthday events. I did a clean install and didn’t have the problem but with my restore I’ve now got between 3 and 6 duplicate events for each birthday. Hopefully the next beta will clear it...

I get that Apple doesn’t want us accidentally swearing and sending it to people, but at least give us an option to swipe profanity words, lol. Disable it by default, but give it as an option.

Just started seeing this message in Messages. I’ve tried signing out of my Apple ID in iMessage, turning off and back on the Messages tab in iCloud and clicking Repair but the message remains.
