I am happy to report that my iPhone 7 update from iOS 13 PB7 to iOS 13.0 GM on a Mac went super smooth. Neither Apple developer’s account, nor any special software (Catalina or XCode) were required. Here is the update recipe, step by step:

1) downloaded the corresponding IPSW file from the link above in this forum (a large 3,95 GB file, so it took me about 10-15 minutes);
2) connected the iPhone to the latest iTunes in macOS Mojave (unlike in previous iOS 13.0 betas, this time iTunes could actually “see” the iPhone, just as it did with iOS 12);
3) while holding “alt” button on the keyboard, clicked on “Check for Update” button and selected the downloaded IPSW file. At this point iTunes told me it needed to download an update, so I okayed it. Downloading the iTunes update took about a minute or two, then iTunes restarted in order to install the update.
4) I then reopened iTunes and repeated the ALT button + check for update step above. This time, with iTunes updated, it told me that iTunes will update the iPhone and verify the update with Apple.
5) The whole installation took about 7-10 minutes and the iPhone updated itself without any overheating, as it is often the case with OTA updates.

Now happily running iOS 13.0 build 17A577 and deleted the beta profile. Next “normal” iPhone update - to iOS 13.1 in early October. Meantime, will continue going through iOS 13.1 betas on my iPad Air 2, as there is nothing better for it to run until 30 September anyway.

Apple had quite a funky beta cycle for us this time round, so best of luck to all!

My email is working fine. Only using my hotmail account like always.
I believe, though I have no proof, that the issues exist with exchange accounts. I have two exchange accounts that I use. Has anyone had luck with the GM and exchange email?

3D touch on contact photo in messages app still crashes back to home screen and the fast swiping in photos app bug is still present in this gm build. Battery drain is still really bad on my iPhone X

I have two exchange accounts, two yahoo accounts, and two gmail accounts. Mail is only working on one gmail account, nothing else.

I was having a lot of issues with exchange accounts as well. I was able to fix it by deleting the mail app and then reinstalling. Followed by a restart of the phone. Worth a try anyways

Yes, I had to do that on a previous beta, I tried it again on the GM with no success. Good troubleshooting though!

XS with GM installed and 2 Exchange accounts. Initially had problems with notifications and checking for mail. After trying a few things (delete/re-add Mail app, remove/re-add accounts, reboot, etc.), I am currently consistently getting mail and notifications for both accounts. However, still seeing some display glitches like mail out of order or the read/unread indicator not matching the true status of the message. A kill and reopen of the Mail app clears that up. For reference, both accounts are connected to servers running Exchange 2013.

My only other issue I have seen so far is that the steering wheel controls in my vehicle when using CarPlay no longer work consistently or at all at times. They worked fine with CarPlay on 12.4.1.

Yike. I'm wondering if we'll actually see a stealth 13.0.1 release on the 20th. Mail is buggy as heck. Actually upgrading to the 13.1 beta because it's so buggy. Two Exchange accounts and CONSTANT freezing.

im never installing a beta again and apple has made it so hard to update to the gm on windows, i had to download a different software cuz the smart people at apple didnt release a new version of itunes
You can just wait for and get the public release.

GM seems to be working fine for me on XS Max only bug ive noticed is my Uni 365/Exchange account not registering mail as being read whether manually marked or finished reading.

Where are you trying to edit a RAW shot?
I just took a RAW pic with Halide and exported it to Darkroom. Right after that it showed the same error, I swiped back to the Library, tapped the photo again and it loaded.
I'm trying edit in Photos app. But in Lightroom is editing without issues.
In iOS 13.1 beta3 is without errors.

Has Optimized Battery Charging improved at all? I seem to recall in some earlier beta that it was making phones hot, or killing battery performance. Also heard that it simply doesn't change charging behavior at all.

gmail, 2 accounts working fine, VERIZON/aol working, iCloud working. All are a little slow in refreshing and sometimes next up is not as expected.

At the moment Fetch on Apple Mail doesn’t work for me, neither does pulling down on the all mailboxes page. However, if I go into each account individually and pull down, my emails download. I’ve tried a hard reset but it’s still the same. Hopefully it will be corrected soon.

Is their a upgrade path from 13.1 beta 3 to 13.0 GM as a upgrade and not OS reload? I don’t want to restore all my apps/data as it’ll take a while (200G+ data).

There is no upgrade path.

Go to ~Library/Application Support/MobileSync . find a backup of your iPhone and edit the info.plist file from 13.1 to 13.0 then it will restore from a "newer" backup. Did it this morning. Used BBedit.

Edit: Sorry search for the word "version". It is about the 4th one, then change 13.1 to 13.0 and save.
