All Devices iOS 13 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Well my messages app still hasn’t finished “indexing” yet. I feel like something went wrong. Also my phone is noticeably heating up a lot more then it used to just doing basic stuff like browsing safari and moving around the UI and losing battery faster than before. I think I’m going to have to go back to 12.4.1.
 
Installed this on my XS Max and gotta say my phone it's buttery smooth and noticeably quicker when opening apps. Battery life's also been good so far. I'm more than happy with the GM.

Would you recommend a day 1 update for my XS?
 
Wow don’t install I done a fresh ipws restore on my Xs max and didn’t use back up so set up as new, and all I will say is how is this the public version, the touch screen has become unresponsive at times and messages crashed twice and had to hard reset, I know 13.1 is coming soon after but this can’t be the same build the public get next week it’s madness

Sounds like you are the only one having those issues. Everyone else has had a good experience thus far, aside from initial indexing which is expected after a big update. Bummer.
 
With the GM IPSW I was able to upgrade my X to the GM on High Sierra 10.13.6. iTuned downloaded some files after picking the ipsw and afterwards everything went it's way successfully.
 
What’s going on my phone Xs max is getting red hot on the back for being on it for 15min it’s on the GM and don’t give me the index stuff lol it was yesterday I done it

Same with me on my 7! I downgrade back to 12.4.1 this morning. It’s not ready for the public yet. Just doing basing navigating around the UI and browsing safari heated up my 7 around the processor really quick and my battery drained faster. There is totally more work to be done. I’m sticking with 12.4.1 which is rock solid. It said my messages app still needed to finish indexing for 2 days and same with my photos app. I’m going to wait at least until 13.1 or way later or not upgrade at all. Dark mode was nice but still some visual glitches with the dock bar every once and awhile. And stutters switching home pages. It just didn’t feel good and polished like 12.4.1 does.

Been using it since day one and have had 0 issues. You always seem to have problems with everything lol I swear I see your name in every post with issues. The only issue I have is haptic touching the contact picture in the messages app crashes it.

I can’t see the safari tabs of my iPhone with 13GM anymore.

Mac is on Mojave, are iCloud tabs from iOS available for you?

Question: do you have a messages thread with someone where you have hundreds of pictures/attachments? Go into the thread click on the top and get info and scroll down. Does it show all of the photos/attachments that were sent in that thread? Mine only showed about 84 out of 486. There rest were just gone. In iOS 12 it shows all of them and I can keep scrolling though them all. Maybe it was just a botched upgrade for me but I’m curious to see if others had this problem.

So does this mean iOS 13.1 Beta 4 will get this? I'd like to try out Night Mode (assuming it's for the camera) on my 7 Plus, but don't want to go through the pain of downgrading.

Just tried it and it showed me all the 1034 attachments in the thread. I scrolled all the way down.

I did a fresh install of the GM, and I'm only seeing photos that were sent after the install.

Edit: I do see a button to download the remaining ones from iCloud though. Trying that...

Yes, in outlook or other email apps everything is fine. In the native email app, nothing worked. I have 6 email accounts, and all of them showed up blank except for one. Would just just last checked mail yesterday, would never even pull up any emails, just blank. This is happening for many people.
 
Supposedly links to the GM (or Golden Master) have been leaked and the URLs appear to be legit. Has anyone tried them?
 
So these of you that upgraded to the GM, is the performance stable? I’m thinking whether I should upgrade now or just wait till next week for official release

iphone 7, updated with itunes and downloaded .ipsw file.
Everything works fine, seems to be faster and snappier than ever. I love photos app but not so much the dark mode because 3rd party apps stays white (and in some apps you have to turn dark mode manually).

Dang. I wonder what happened with mine?!?! I must have a botched install.

I installed the GM through iTunes on my MacBook Pro running Sierra. Which way did you do it?
