1. Compilations (like watch os) on the lockscreen
2. Dark mode
3. option for Swipe for IOS stock keyboard
4. More customizations for Control Center (add/delete toggles)
5. redesigned HUD volume
6. Apple Maps - offline/downloaded maps. Volume/voice control- on screen toggle for voice, no voice, and alerts only (like Google maps + Waze). Better traffic.

I wish iOS 13 have a dual app feature (like Android). I played with my friend Samsung, OVO, etc, and realize that these phone can have dual Whatsapp, dual everything.

Since iPhone now support dual SIM, so I hope in 13, they support dual Whatsapp since it's only fair.

Dudes lets do a lottery!

Everyone has a ticket. On your ticket are 5 things you think these will def be a major feature of ios 13. the one with all 5 features included, gets the money! Or the one closest

Lets say a dollar per ticket

Not quite a speculation but do you think the new design language that TVOS 12.3 and Apple Card app seem to take had any indication on the upcoming iOS 13?

I forgot the swiping on the keyboard. Apple keyboard is still the best so it would be great if they would support it.

Ken Kocenda, the guy who created the Apple keyboard, said it’s not going to happen. Just not a good enough experience.

I want the volume HUD to be like when in the Instragram app (on iPhone X).

And ofcourse a true dark mode... Let's let these OLED-screens save some power!

Hmm it's too bad Apple can't create a good experience with swiping. At least we can use gboard but I'd prefer to have it in the native keyboard too bc I like apples 3d touch implementation. Maybe in the future they'll figure it out.

I would like the missing iOS iPhone apps to finally make their way to the iPad. (Weather, Health, Activity, Phone, and Calculator). The inclusion of Stocks and Voice Memos last year makes it seem like they might be coming. I hope a Weather app adds severe weather alerts and radar, and that a Phone app gives access to voicemails. That’d be really helpful.

Other than that, I’d like to see all live tv channel streams (from PlayStation Vue etc) integrated directly into the tv app so you don’t have to open another app to view the channel. All channels should be included this way, not just news and sports.

I’d like all devices to show in the Widget app (ie my phones battery to display on my iPad, etc) as well as all devices show in Now Playing (so I can pause something playing on my iPhone from my iPad, for example).

I’d like the Clock apps to be kept in sync so that a timer or reminder started on one goes off on, and can be dismissed from, all devices.

Finally, in Notes, I’d like the ability to lock entire folders as well as sort folders by date created and date modified.

I was looking through this thread again and just saw that I completely forgot like my number one thing - iPad mouse support. Even if they included it as an accessibility feature that would be just great. My wrists and shoulders get sore after using the horizontal keyboard and vertical screen for too long.

Hi

I read in a site that iOS 13 will have to have Desktop mode, it would be great to have the desktop mode on iPad pro as Samsung Galaxy tab S4 please put as a suggestion sign in the list.
I would like to have iOS mode in desktop mode.

I think all A8 devices and forward will get iOS 13. Maybe even A7 since it's 64-bit, but that's unlikely.

My wishlist mostly concerns iPad features, not iPhone. I am pretty satisfied with iOS on iPhone but miss some features. However, on iPad I really have many complaints.

For iPhone:
1. Dark mode
2. Default apps
3. Volume HUD not intrusive
4. A real update of the built-in keyboard, it is way behind the competition like GBoard (quicktype that was released with what iOS 8 or smth is still not available in Sweden)
5. Always on display for OLED devices
6. Power off should require Face/Touch ID or passcode

For iPad (in addition to those for iPhone):
1. Tabs for all productivity apps
2. Multiple windows side-by-side for apps, so for example Pages can show two documents simultaneously (like Safari has today)
3. Desktop class browser
4. Support for external storage via lightning/USB-C
5. A complete overhaul of the homescreen to make it more pro like the Mac, perhaps with a tool bar
6. Added keyboard shortcuts to bring it on par with the Mac, that way many things can be executed just by keyboard commands
7. Faster/different animations when putting apps side-by-side
8. Files app more options and get rid of that stupid tap and hold black toolbar and get something quicker. Previews for files like Finder on the Mac
9. Let us play audio from two sources at once, like music and a YouTube video at the same time

I'll settle for the phone ALWAYS using the keyboard I select. I have the Swiftkey keyboard, but it does not always display.

Just delete the Apple keyboard and keep just your keyboard of choice (and emoji keyboard if you want). The Apple keyboard will still display when you tap password text boxes etc.

Works for me with GBoard.

I would just like the simplicty back...one example...instead of quick pushing the up volume, down volume and power button to turn off, just push the power button to turn off.

Everything is getting too complicated.

Incoming calls should stop hijacking the entire screen in 2019

This X 100 :)

I mean this is unreal that Apple has not revised the Phone app, it's sucks so bad compared to stock Android or Samsung's.

T9 dialer anyone?

It looks and feels as if certain iPhone apps haven't been updated since 2008. And if you only use an iPhone you'd never know what you're missing.

But hop on a pixel 3 or something and you'd be shocked at how a phone app is supposed to work and not like something from a decade ago

1) Option to disable screen lock during calls ( good for long conference calls )
2) Automatically clear calendar notifications after the meeting/appointment is over. Do you need to be reminded to go to a meeting that ended 3 hours ago? What exactly are you being reminded to do?
3) Disable bluetooth autoplay when connecting to a car stereo or other device.
4 ) Set limit on how many times an alarm repeats. If I don't respond after the alarm sounds 3 times , I'm never going to respond.
5) option to disable screen lock while charging.

if these seem familiar, it's because I've been submitting them to Apple feedback every year for 8 years. One day, they will be implemented.

Edit: Another post reminded me that the volume slider appears in the middle of the screen, usually right over the content you are watching. so ...
6) Move volume control off to the side of the screen, bottom, top , left , right, anywhere but in the middle of what I'm watching / reading.
7) Remove anything that ends with "oji" animoji , memoji, it's time for them to become extinct and become the subject of archeological study.
