1) Option to disable screen lock during calls ( good for long conference calls )
2) Automatically clear calendar notifications after the meeting/appointment is over. Do you need to be reminded to go to a meeting that ended 3 hours ago? What exactly are you being reminded to do?
3) Disable bluetooth autoplay when connecting to a car stereo or other device.
4 ) Set limit on how many times an alarm repeats. If I don't respond after the alarm sounds 3 times , I'm never going to respond.
5) option to disable screen lock while charging.

if these seem familiar, it's because I've been submitting them to Apple feedback every year for 8 years. One day, they will be implemented.
Doesn't what's mentioned in item 2 already work that way?

No. I have an appointment notification on my phone ( iOS 12 ) right now from a meeting that ended 13 hours ago.
Weird, I had one earlier that was there and then disappeared on its own when the meeting end time passed. Basically always worked that way.

Desperately waiting for Dark (true sense) mode in iOS 13. I have been using smart invert in iOS 12 but fed up with invert video & pics in some third party apps. It is frustrating everytime changing to normal & invert based on app to be used.

I wish iOS 13 have a dual app feature (like Android). I played with my friend Samsung, OVO, etc, and realize that these phone can have dual Whatsapp, dual everything.

Since iPhone now support dual SIM, so I hope in 13, they support dual Whatsapp since it's only fair.
True. It's urgently needed now. I have two sims in XS but unable to use whatsapp on second sim.

I suspect iOS 13 may make 2 GB seem even more restrictive, and will start to impact more on 3 GB devices as well.

... except that some of the newer versions of iOS have focused on improving the performance of and on older phones - specifically those with typically less RAM than the newest/flagship phones.
That was iOS 12. iOS 13 will likely be a resource-heavy release.

iOS 12 endeavoured to fix the speed issues with iOS 11, because iOS 11 was a resource-heavy release.

I think it is rather telling that Apple’s new minimum memory configuration for its new consumer iPads and last year’s cheaper iPhone XR is 3 GB, while its more expensive iPhones ship with 4 GB. That’s 4 GB on a phone, which generally is not used for content creation. I suspect the next generation of iPad Pros will ship with a minimum of 6 GB.

I doubt Apple would refresh the iPad Mini and Air lines with 3GB RAM only for them to have subpar performance 6 months down the line. 2GB devices, sure.

I want ALL buttons, searchbars etc., placed at the bottom instead the top. Would be so much better for my thumb.

And I want apple to do something with the space under the keyboard on x/xs/xr. That dumb big space at the bottom with just the emoji logo and the microphone. I have this speaking thing deactivated so 50% of them are useless for me. At least they could show my most used emojis for a quicker access. Quick swipe down on that reveals a bar with numbers or symbols like ? ! „ / :

I hate wasted space. I def knew how ios gonna look on notch iphones but so much wasted space :/ I hope they saved everything up for ios 13.

Far fewer people care about iOS 13 compare to iOS 12 it seems. Over 5000 threads vs jut over 300 threads. Maybe it will go bigger over time?

Might have something to do with the fact that iOS 13 is not out yet... hasn't even been announced... and iOS 12 is coming up on 10 months of actual usage? So everything iOS 13 is just speculation and iOS 12 is actual experience, issues, etc.

Surely an existing OS that has been out for months and has been under discussion for about a year will have many more threads about it at this point.

Pretty excited about dark mode and new volume ui. But if thats everything ios 13 has to offer I‘m out. A bit of redesign besides a dark mode would be not too much to ask. It‘s time for something new now.

As I commented over on the news thread about this, I would not take what was "revealed" today as the final word and an exhaustive list of features.

It’s early days but imo they need more than a dark mode and some multi-tasking tweaks this year.

Apple make nice hardware that has not changed but iOS just feels so dated. After what was effectively not much more than a stability release in iOS 12 I think another incremental update will not be enough, at least not for me.

YMMV

Its not even early days. These are unconfirmed rumors (no matter how good the source) of an unannounced update. I do not expect an incremental update. I'm sure Apple has plenty more to reveal on June 3. That said, they likely are not pleased that this information got out (if its accurate). Someone leaked it.

A lot of new app icon updates are a white background with the icon in the middle. Microsoft Office updates are a good example.

I wonder if they know something that we don’t perhaps Apple are changing the way icons are shown, perhaps just the icon and not a rounded square as now?

Glad you posted that. I remember the discussion from a few months ago but couldn't remember which thread it was in. This does lead me to wonder if Apple has changed its iconography design guidelines (a la Google Material) in recent months, or if this is just coincidence on the lighter colored backgrounds. Either way, there is no way Apple is going to reveal to frenemy's like Microsoft about upcoming wholesale design changes in iOS.

I would like an option in the iPad Control Center to quickly be able to log into a previously saved Personal Hotspot / Instant Hotspot.

I just want to be able to arrange app icons however I’d like, as opposed to being forced to arrange them in rows that start from the upper left corner of the screen.

This is it. This is the last time for apple to strike back.

We are not on 2013 anymore. The android's teenager time is past.
We are on 2019.
Android side is pushing heavily.
Overall looks amazing now, superior AI skills, google photos, calendar etc... Gmaps functions

iOS is so so so outdated.
App Store is outdated. Music app is overrated(plus sluggish), messages outdated. calendar outdated.

Period. The system overall smells 2015..

They need urgent UI replacement. and this is not bargainable this time.
