Yes. We are beta testing. There are many at Apple who are alpha testing. The company that writes the software seems to have quite a few employees who test software long before it is released in public channels or to developers.

Tomorrow, anyone?
I sure hope so. It's been a while since we got a new beta.I think we get 13.2 today. Apple patched that security bug for the general public last week so they have to address it for developers and pb testers as soon as possible I have to imagine.
Chances are high for iOS 13.1.2 to address the still many outstanding issues.

isnt the homepod update today just radio stations? some people suposedly already have that feature. enabled server side and wont require an actual update? 13.0 or whatever
I thought iOS 13 for HomePod allowed for different profiles for different users? (Voice recognition for different users) which requires an update for HomePod.
We know nothing about a HomePod update. This feature is set for later this fall but could be today. I would not be surprised if there is no HomePod update today, given Apple past record recently on delaying everything
the only feature being released today according to apple.com/homepod is the local radio stations. everything else is later this fall. does this require an update or just a server side change is yet to be determined.
I would presume HomePod today as shortcuts is still of on it. I can’t turn my lights on or heating still atm.
MacOS probably, but iPad OS already released.I’m thinking today will only be iPad OS & MacOS release and then back to beta releases tomorrow
