Aren't there only 2 weeks between beta 1 and beta 2 in .0 releases?

Perhaps ... but it can vary.

I wonder if there will be another dev beta before the public goes live later this month...

I really hope it ends up being two weeks between beta 1 and beta 2, but for some reason I’m thinking beta 2 won’t release until Monday, June 24.

Looking at the last 2 years I'd expect the Public Beta to launch on the Monday following the 2nd dev beta.
So that suggests: 2nd developer beta 18th/19th, public beta 24th

At 2:15:00 of the keynote, Tim says the "... the Public Seed of macOS, iOS and iPadOS will be available in July".

It will not be released before beta 2 at the absolute earliest. Take it to the bank.

I think the 24th/25th is a pretty solid guess. Though Apple could release 13.0 beta 2 the week prior so that the week of the 24th is open for a final release of 12.4. Or maybe 12.4 gets its final release earlier?

I'm thinking public beta is the week of July 15th.

Could be something like this...
Week Of: June 10th - Final Beta 12.4
Week Of: June 18th - Final Release 12.4
Week Of: June 24th - 13.0 Beta 2
Week Of: July 1st - nothing drops
Week Of: July 8th - 13.0 Beta 3
Week Of: July 15th - 13.0 Public Beta 1 (same build as Beta 3)
Week Of: July 22 - 13.0 Dev 4 / Public 2 and from there we're going weekly

Obviously Apple has their own plans and ideas of when things will be released, but to me these dates make the most sense in terms of scheduling and past release schedules for major builds. I think the biggest question mark is whether or not 12.4 really gets two full weeks for beta/release by itself without another build from 13 dropping?

Unfortunately beta 2 won’t be next week. :(

Yeah I'm pretty sure there's never been a 1 week turnaround on a X.0 beta 1 -> 2 and it's even fairly rare on all X.x beta 1 -> 2 transitions. I'd say it's possible the week of the 17th, but may not be until the 24th.

The July date was actually on a slide at the keynote. Its not guessing; its what Apple said.

I hope Apple comes out with iOS 13 beta 2 next week. :) My mail app Ian useless, slows down to a crawl. Keyboard is unresponsive at times.

Unfortunately beta 2 won’t be next week. :(
No...no it will not.

There is a reason you don’t use betas a daily driver on you main phone.

If this year was the same as last year, when would beta 2 arrive? Hoping for OTA.

Dev beta 2 would probably arrive alongside public beta 1. And hopefully a profile too, because if I need to use my Mac to install dev betas now I’ll gladly go to the public beta program. :p

I think we might get another beta at the halfway/2 week mark. Or it could just be wishful thinking :(

We may, if we don't though it's probably cause Apple is working to iron out the many bugs.

Is the bold justified since you haven’t used it yet? Just saying such a reaction should be reserved for those with actual experience.

Those that have gone ahead and installed it are free to disagree but the current beta is easily argued as one of the tightest betas yet, especially for a b1.

On the Apple developer pages, it says “we strongly advise waiting for the many bug fixes and refinements coming to the public beta next month.” Considering that message was posted last Monday June 3rd, it suggests there won’t be a public beta until July.

So it may be that there will be a second developer beta in mid-June before the first public beta.

I wouldn't put it passed Apple to surprise everyone with a public beta release the last week of June, but it's pretty standard for it to come out in July anyway.

June 24th for developer beta 2 and then July 1 or 2 for public beta so it is out before the holiday weekend.

I don't ever remember so many people having such a smooth experience on an initial beta. It is really quiet in here...except for all of the praise as to how smoothly it is working.
