All Devices iOS 13 Speculation Thread [Merged]

Two years ago they released the PB just prior to July 4th.

I only remember because I was so excited to try out new mapping features on a very long drive I was taking prior to the holiday.

Did a bit of digging... last three public beta release dates were:

iOS10 public beta July 7th
iOS11 public beta June 26th
iOS12 public beta June 25th.

My guess is that Apple specifically mentioned the July time-frame in order to set expectations. The week of the 8th is easily the most likely release window.

Every major release has 2 week cycles up until beta 4 or 5 then it goes weekly so no chance beta 3 will come out today

LOL. If I had a dollar (or a quid) for every time someone has used past history as a guide, I'd be a very wealthy person now! We'll know shortly, if the usual sources get released from their embargoes.

I know past history isn't everything and things always change but never has a beta 3 come a week after beta 2 for a major iOS release it just doesn't happen

I laughed so hard when I saw the post just prior to beta 2’s release. The Netflix Rule. I’m like, “no way. Come on.”

Moments later, beta 2 was out. So funny.

But most of the time when Netflix update comes out there is an iOS update. Look at the history.

There’s always a chance. Just because they did something in previous years doesn’t mean they’ll do it again.

Next week is the 4th of July holiday in the US. If they release a beta that Monday or Tuesday there will be no one at corporate for many days later. If I were them I’d release this week and skip next.
