To take a break from the update bug: I've never been able to get the Translate app to work. 100% of the time, I get "Translation Unavailable Translation is unavailable at the moment. Try again at a later time." Has anyone seen—or better yet, solved—this?

I posted this on a thread about the Translate app, too, but no responses there, so figured I'd try here. Thanks.

That's not really how things work with something like beta versions.
I know.. but how stupid that dev is not checking the min versions before showing the popup. I am a dev and there is nothing worse than missing a basic requirement.

While something like that might be one of the first things that comes up when thinking about it, and might certainly be something like that, it's hard to know what is actually behind it. Hopefully they'll address it in one way or another sometime sooner rather than later.

Doesn’t help. I still get is randomly when unlocked.
Not just after unlock, even see the message when a new app is opened or switch to the new app

Worse is on Nest, when watching alerts, every video forces to popup this one and hate it

I'm still on beta 1 and haven't had this popup. If you can find the IPSW maybe you can install that one if it's still signed.

Very irritating and I should say they should fire the guy who put that message on every phone, not checking the versions
If you don’t want annoyances with a TEST code, guess what? Don’t use a test code. Nobody needs to be put on fire - and if so, that would be you by agreeing to use a test code that is for testing, and being that upset about it.

Dude chill out.. dont get your panties twisted up you butt...

As a dev, i think one of the basic requirement for this is to check version, and if the phone has lower version, bring up a popup. How could anyone miss that??

So chill out and sit the **** down

Happily moving along on 14.1 after rolling back from the beta. Not missing the pop ups or anything else that 14.2 had to offer.
