Anyone experienced issue with connecting google chrome cast?

I have a 11 pro max still running 13.6, which has no problem with chrome cast.

I checked the net gear genie network map and saw a big cross shown over my iPhone (14.2) whereas 11 pro max (13.6) looks fine on the map.

Both phones have no problem with connecting to internet via the home WiFi router.

Using 8-plus I finally upgraded — only glaring thing I see is in Messages

Links from twitter and Facebook I receive (from others’ iPhones aren’t working - I have to copy the link and then open it in safari instead of the apps.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Battery drain is concerning too - phone is running much warmer than on iOS 12.

I’m seeing a new issue and am not sure if it’s related to updating to Big Sur or not, as I’ve been on the iOS 14 betas for a while. I have an iPhone 12 Pro, an iPad Pro 2018, and a 2015 MBP. Up until I updated to Big Sur I’ve been able to open Safari on my iPhone or iPad and tap the tabs icon and see my open iCloud Safari pages on my other devices. Since updating to Big Sur, though, on my iPhone and iPad I’m seeing incorrect open pages listed across all of my devices. It’s a clusterF. At times when I’m on my iPad I’m seeing web sites on my MPB that I haven’t visited in days. 2 or 3.. BUT, Handoff works fine on my MBP, transferring open Safari Pages from either my iPhone or my iPad to Safari on my MBP..

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have also been seeing this. Big Sur 11.0.1 on a 2020 i5 MBP and iOS 14.2 on a 12 Pro.

Yes, my wife and I encountered this while I was on 14.1 and she was on 13.7. The only way we could get it to work between us was to set it to EVERYONE rather than CONTACTS ONLY.
Having same problem here on 14.2. Have you found a fix to it?

Here’s a bug: 14.2, Safari.

A thin black horizontal line appears on all webpages and resizes based upon the zoom level.

If this is supposed to be a feature thit’s pretty lame, I don’t need an indication showing my my zoom level as it’s obvious.
Any solution yet? I have the same problem and the Apple tech folks have been useless, telling me I need to wait for the next software update.

I have the same horizontal line problem as described on my 11 as well. I use Chrome more than Safari so it affects me less just from that standpoint.

when using iMessage, sometimes when I want to insert a gif or meme, but change my mind, the screen doesn't display the cursor properly to enter text; I have to back out of the app and re enter app to enter text. is this normal?

14.2.1 just out
It came out yesterday, and only for iPhone 12 models:

So I tried updating and I have iPhone 7 Plus and it didn’t download is it because it’s a older phone
