12 PM and IPP 11 2020

Still having issues.
1. When I am listening on my IPP, if I am browsing on the 12PM in Safari and a video advertisement plays the APP switches to the 12PM.
2. For some incoming calls, answering a call the APP will pick up speaker then drop the call back to the phone speaker. Selecting APP after the drop restores it to the APP and it works fine from there.
3. Shifting the right earpiece when on a call may hang up your call.
4. Music quality on the APP is still down. It used to be very close to my B&O H5, however the sound on the APP lacks depth and crispness. Started with 14.4.2(?)

Other than this, they are working just fine. For me. YUMVA

I still can’t believe that Apple is unable or unwilling to change FaceId in such a way that you don’t need to touch your phone to unlock it.

So now I need to buy a watch to be able to do that. A 1000 Dollar device that is not protecting my health and makes me touch the Surface also to unlock my phone.

Its not aceptable in pandemic times.

How do you want the phone to know when you want it to unlock without yo touching it?
I believe even google and Elon is 3 years from a mind reading phone, apple is probably 5 years from it

If you mean not touching the screen you can use at backtap to go from lock screen to Home Screen or run a shortcut for what ever you want.

Just a heads up for other users of MS Teams, it is crashing upon launch for me after updating to 14.5.

Same issue here with all Office 365 apps. But just when these are managed and protected by your organization or company. I managed to open the app but when trying to log in into my corporate account, it crashes right after the "This app is protected by your organization..." message

No they don't do that thankfully. I just hate Transparency mode and I want my settings of noise cancellation on and off to stick instead of noise cancellation or transparency. It just doesn't make sense to me why it would be those 2 settings instead of all 3 or why I have to change the settings every time I connect

Does it happen even for MS Apps which are not managed by enterprise? I mean will onedrive, teams, outlook not work if all these products are used with individual accounts and not corporate accounts ?

All those apps are managed by enterprise in my case, so all of them are crashing on my iphone.

I feel so bad reading all this. Everything is working great on my Xs, except for an occasional lag in audio connection on calls with my AirPods Pros.

When touching a wrongly spelled word with red dotted underline, it doesn't bring up the usual suggestions ribbon and opens up the editing ribbon instead

Should be in Settings-->Bluetooth and select the info button next to your car name and you can turn off sync contacts there.

My Airpod Pro issue still isn't fixed. Worked correctly on my XS but since getting my 12 Pro it won't leave my settings how I set them.

Also annoyed that unlock with Watch requires Wifi to be on. I can't have Wifi on at work since my work actively monitors us when we connect to Wifi (and having Wifi just ON cause cause issues in places with public Wifi anyway). Hoping they refine it to work via bluetooth soon

You can set the network not to auto join so that way you can leave WiFi on and your phone won’t automatically connect to the work WiFi network

That's for bluetooth connection. I'm talking about the reported bug for 14.5 which talks about sharing contacts over carplay which doesn't use bluetooth (uses wired lightning cable).

I updated to 14.5 beta this morning mainly so I could get 5G with dual sim’s. It works great as does the unlock with mask, just used it before in Bunnings (big hardware warehouse here in Australia).

However looks like a bug of 14.5 is CarPlay no longer works, well at least not for my car (2019 Ford Ranger with SYNC 3). Anyone else having issues with CarPlay after updating?

I can't try this until tomorrow, but try deleting your phone from your car's Bluetooth device list and delete your car from CarPlay on your phone. Set up the phone on Bluetooth again, but do not allow contacts to download to your car. Then set CarPlay up again. Again, a suggestion I can't try with my Ford Escape until tomorrow, but can't break anything that's already broken.
