Anyone else got an issue where MagSafe animation don’t play when putting phone onto the MagSafe duo? Seems to work when putting a case on - weird!

I updated to 14.5 beta this morning mainly so I could get 5G with dual sim’s. It works great as does the unlock with mask, just used it before in Bunnings (big hardware warehouse here in Australia).

However looks like a bug of 14.5 is CarPlay no longer works, well at least not for my car (2019 Ford Ranger with SYNC 3). Anyone else having issues with CarPlay after updating?

Saw this so I went out and checked.
My 12 PM will not connect to our 2016 Escape.
Works on our Evoque.

I can't try this until tomorrow, but try deleting your phone from your car's Bluetooth device list and delete your car from CarPlay on your phone. Set up the phone on Bluetooth again, but do not allow contacts to download to your car. Then set CarPlay up again. Again, a suggestion I can't try with my Ford Escape until tomorrow, but can't break anything that's already broken.

I just tried that. I never had synced my Contacts - The wife did but she has a Galaxy.
Still no joy. Now it doesn't want to properly connect after I deleted it. The 12 PM sees Sync. The Escape sees my device. Connection fails.

and don't ask me to delete the wife's connection. I want to live a few more years

I tried to uninstall / reinstall teams with no luck. I've also tried to downgrade (without restoring / clearing data) to 14.4 but it left my iPhone 12 mini stuck on the restore screen afterwards. Luckily re-upgrading to the 14.5 beta let me get back to a working device with no data loss, but still no fix for the broken MS apps.

I an admin and just did this to my home and I have no issue with my outlook or trams opening? Admins must have certain settings enable on the Intine side making this crash some how

Teams and Outlook work both fine for me on my 12 PM. There was also a Outlook app update when I woke up this morning

I have a series 4 Apple Watch and also unable to update to latest 7.4 beta. My 12 pro is updated on 14.5 but Apple Watch app says to update iPhone first. So I guess series 4 Apple Watch also is not compatible with newest watchOS beta which stinks.

My Series 4 cellular watch updated fine to 7.4b1

It’s only an issue if you have Intune MAM enabled.

The MS apps crashing issues is because your corporate account has Azure Information Protection enabled. It only crashes on Face ID devices and it only happens if you have AIP set. Personal accounts will work fine and corporate ones will work if your enterprise doesn’t use AIP. Hoping for a fix soon!!

I saw that yesterday, and I'm so glad they finally added that since it lists it in the iTunes Store. I forgot to say something yesterday when I saw it.

Just hopped on the beta and checked about 15 albums.

Half of them had the wrong release date.

Yes!

Bought new Case and MagSafe from Apple today… no animation when dropping on MagSafe charger Don’t have duo, but same thing… animation into the case, no animation when onto charger.

Welp, here’s a weird one…

The Music release dates differ between your library and the Music catalog.

Choose an album in your music library and note the release date. Now view that same album in Music and the release date will be the day before.

I just did this for about ten different albums and the release date for the albums in my library were always one day after the release date for the exact same album in Apple’s catalog.

I’m just curious. Why does WiFi need to be turned on for Face ID to unlock with the watch? Like I’m walking down a NYC street not connected to WiFi so I turn it off and Face ID says I need to turn it on for it to work.

Quite frankly, if you have to ask these questions you should not be using it on your main phone at this stage.
