Intune enrolled device with managed outlook, teams, and other apps. No issues on my iPhone 12 Pro Max.

I still can’t believe that Apple is unable or unwilling to change FaceId in such a way that you don’t need to touch your phone to unlock it.

So now I need to buy a watch to be able to do that. A 1000 Dollar device that is not protecting my health and makes me touch the Surface also to unlock my phone.

Its not aceptable in pandemic times.

I went through and disabled a bunch of the experimental features and get it to work.

going to go back and re-enable them one by one to figure out which one is broken when I have time later tonight.
Disabling HTTP/3 (with all other experimental features enabled except for the four that start with Disable) resolves all of my Safari rendering issues - tested against 20 or so pages, half of which were broken with HTTP/3 enabled.

Your worried about touching your phone and you’ve just typed this how? A keyboard, how is that different from a phone?

Anyone else having issues with opening the PlayStation app?
Yep, and a number of other apps (not just the managed Microsoft ones). Most apps that are crashing appear to be doing so as soon as they attempt network access. Seeing the same thing happen with Apollo, Mint, Discord, UniFi Network and UniFi Protect, Swarm, Nextdoor, among other things.

Edit: Apparently, if you put the phone in airplane mode first, open the app, and then disable airplane mode after a bit, it works. Sometimes. Not sure what's going on here.

Edit2: Figured out the fix for most apps, in post #115. PS App still crashes.

One time a guy came through the drive thru back when I worked at McDonald’s, and this actually happened to him with his NEW phone. 😬 If I remember right, it was okay, but we were all like “Oh no!” when it happened.
I guess for those of us who wear our wrist on the left arm but have right hand drive vehicles, using the phone is easier than the arm!

The slight hangs and stuttering when opening and switching apps is still present on my iPhone 12 Pro with 14.5 beta 1. :-(

I’ll add to this… for anyone having the issue of various apps crashing on start (other than the managed Microsoft apps or similar), also make sure HTTP/3 is disabled in Settings -> Developer. If you don’t have the Developer menu enabled, you need to hook your phone up to a Mac with the new Xcode beta open and running.

wish you could unlock iPhone on a desk with watch when it can't see face, it works with a mask but it should unlock anyways
I just tested it on mine. I got it to unlock several times when my face was not in frame. Also got it to unlock while I was wearing a mask and had the entire top half of my face covered with my hands. For me this seems to work just like the Android unlock with bluetooth feature.

That worked for me too! Thanks!

Sorry but that is a terrible idea. This would allow a thief to just swipe your phone off the table and immediately unlock it before they run off.

You watch movies too much, mate. You really think that a thief (a regular thief) will hold on a few moments to think wether or not the iPhone is or is not paired with a Watch and is or is not protected by FaceID, and then make the decision to quickly steal it from your table and quickly unlock it "before it's too late" ?
Come on...

Apple previously told that yes, they could have implemented a feature to allow FaceID recognition even with the mask on, but this would lower the level of security and protection and Apple is not willing to do that. Unlocking the phone with half the face visible would reduce the accuracy of the recognition and could be a potential breach...
Now the Apple Watch paired solution is a great addition for those who own one. I'm sure Apple is thinking of something more convenient for iPhone 13, but in the meanwhile, that's what we get.

Even more than dual sim 5G (finally...), the whole Apple Watch unlocking is making me jump on the beta train again...
But not sure if I want to put a beta on the watch

An annoying issue that I and many other iPhone users had since 2014 has been resolved in this iOS Beta, it only took them 7 years 😂
After deleting some auto-saved public wifi passwords they would just reappear the next time you visited the Passwords section of the settings menu!
I can now confirm that the issue has be resolved in this Beta 🎉🎉🎉

so flipping from floating to full causes the keyboard to temporarily change the emoji search to the full keyboard, I wish Apple would let us always have it

as seen below
