In Safari? If so, disable HTTP/3 in Safari experimental options and try again.
So question, Is this enabled by default in 14.5 now? Or is everyone turning on all the experimental features on their own? On 14.4 its already off is why I am asking.

That’s what I mean. As a Second Faceid. I hat it when big brother is watching over my security complicating the use of my device. Gonna Check jailbreak Options

Sooo…keeping it secured is overreach and you clearly are ok with less secure. Why not turn off the password requirement altogether then?

Deal breaker for me right there. Glad you posted this. Working from home. Cant do without outlook.

On a similar note, any Boxer/Intelligent Hub (VMware) users seeing this behavior? Do not want to lose work email too.

Anyone having issues with the remote app not connecting and crashing when trying to select an Apple TV? Works fine with one, but can’t connect to another one. Tried restart and nothing. Strange thing is it works with control center remote, but not remote app.

edit: so apparently the remote app doesn’t exist anymore so they could have just finally stopped supporting it.

I'm surprised nobody is talking about how they dropped support for Series 3 with this update. Refuses to install on my watch. It either insists that it's updated maximally, or that my phone is out of date. Super frustrating of Apple to do this.

Have tried:

Re pairing watch to phone

"Updating" phone to 14.4 then to 14.5 again

Completely erasing phone and trying to pair from completely stock 14.5

Pairing on separate iPhones on 14.3, 14.4 and 14.5 respectively

Trying to update over Wifi and Cellular

Erasing watch completely

Pairing watch to family member's phone and attempting to update

Erasing development iPhone and starting completely fresh from 14.5 IPSW

At this point, I don't think it's a mistake; pretty obvious they have dropped support for whatever ****ing reason. So ****** of them to do though.

I am having the issue with MS Apps - Teams and Outlook.

Teams did work after I removed the Managed Corp Account.

Does anyone know if this is an issue with the 14.5 itself or something to do with MS Apps which will need a fix and update. I have outlook TestFlight versions. I am hoping a new build of these apps fix this.

I don’t know if it has something to do with FaceID or tracking that are changed in this build. Outlook and Teams work fine on my iPad mini 4 with my managed employer accounts, but on my iPhone XS Max they crash.

I'm using a Series 3 watch and it's currently on the preparing update screen. That's really odd.

Try giving it a try tomorrow?

An annoying issue that I and many other iPhone users had since 2014 has been resolved in this iOS Beta, it only took them 7 years 😂
After deleting some auto-saved public wifi passwords they would just reappear the next time you visited the Passwords section of the settings menu!
I can now confirm that the issue has be resolved in this Beta 🎉🎉🎉
WiFi passwords are not saved or visible in settings > passwords... or anywhere as a list for that matter in iOS.

I don't have an Apple Watch so was a bit jealous that you'll all be able to unlock the phone while wearing a mask, but I've just read that Apple Pay stuff still needs full FaceID unlock. As that's the main time I'm wearing a mask and needing to unlock the phone (paying at the till), I still need to enter my PIN. Phew. Not quite so jealous :)
You can use the watch with apple pay and not have to remove the mask

The privacy tracking thing don't work at all for me either. The switch is on on privacy settings, but no apps are shown there and nothing when I open Facebook.

No need to be snarky. Face ID, Touch ID, passcodes, they are optional. If someone wants to use them in one instance and not in another, or wants to use them differently, for convenience, that is their choice. Shouldn't pass snarky remarks on them.
