I would think that apps would possibly need to be updated to take advantage.

I just tested it on mine. I got it to unlock several times when my face was not in frame. Also got it to unlock while I was wearing a mask and had the entire top half of my face covered with my hands. For me this seems to work just like the Android unlock with bluetooth feature.

not true doesn't work I tried it, still asks for passcode, so annoying with apple would allow this, would make life so much better
 
Anyone having problems hitting the front page on 14.5 beta?

That’s what I mean. As a Second Faceid. I hat it when big brother is watching over my security complicating the use of my device. Gonna Check jailbreak Options

May I ask if anyone knows if they’ve improved the exposure hunting/flickering in hdr video recording? Hoping it’s not a hardware limitation 🤞🏻

Yes. The option is in cellular data options -> voice and data. There’s a toggle now to enable standalone.

Does it happen even for MS Apps which are not managed by enterprise? I mean will onedrive, teams, outlook not work if all these products are used with individual accounts and not corporate accounts ?
 
Looking for help...the update isn't appearing for me. Are there IPSWs available anymore?

I have the beta profile installed but its not showing up after a couple restarts and resetting..
 
I read on another website that the music player song titles are scrolling again in control center and on the lockscreen.

Can anyone confirm?
 
Dual sim 5G is big step forward for me and I know this is beta,

but 5g with dual sim works very bad. I have higher ping , it increased 25-30 -> 45-50 and download decreased 80-90 -> 15-30.

Even if I turn off second line the performace is worse than same phone on T-mobile on 14.4. I hope they fix modem firmware sooner than later.

Tried to reset network setting with 0 help.

Update: I turned off the phone for 5 minutes and everything is back to normal. I think phone had some problems with network registration.
