I've deleted the profile for iOS 14.5 beta 5, showing no software updates for 14.4.2.

Anyone know why this is happening?

You have to be on 14.4 or 14.4.1 (or older even) for your device to see/download 14.4.2
one more question, since I deleted the profile, once the next beta gets released, can I download the profile again and jump on the latest beta?

Ok guys, I did a test because I was not convinced that all the Oled screens have that crappy smearing.

I noticed this after the beta5 installation.

So I did a downgrade.

Same settings, looks with your eyes.

Im on 14.4 and hardly see the purple unless i really look at the screen. Similar to the 3rd video. I was about to install beta5...I deleted it.

I am on Beta 14.5 on my 12PM & Watch OS Beta on my watch, any possibilities to downgrade to 14.4.2 without loosing data?

No, and also the WatchOS beta requires that you also be on the iOS beta as well. If you did/could downgrade iOS the watch would no longer pair (and there’s no way other than sending the watch to Apple to downgrade WatchOS). Best to just stay on the beta at this point.

Oops, I downgrade my 12pm before I read your message, now I must wait for 14.5 to get released to use my watch? Or even I will be not able to use after official watch os release & must visit Apple store?

Anyone else having problem with “picture in picture”? Since updating to Beta 5, swiping up during a FaceTime video call does not work as expected, namely shrinking the call to the top right of the screen. It does as it used to do prior to the Picture in Picture feature being added

You can 1) go back to the iOS 14.5 beta now and the watch will work, or 2) wait for 14.5 to be released and update to it (and WatchOS as well), until then you won’t be able to pair the watch with the device. You can also send the watch into Apple (I’ve had to do this a couple of times over the past few years) to be downgraded (AFAIK stores can’t do it, at least not the last time I had to, 1 1/2 years ago).

Anyone Noticed notifications are Brocken for a lot of the apps? This beta is hell on my iPhone 10 xs max. All other betas were fine and this one has been issues on top of issues

I’m holding steady at 99% capacity on release day 12PM. (Picked up a couple days after release day due to a minor issue with my order) Not sure what to make of battery life, for me it seems to be pretty decent until I have a day of heavy use. I had only 1% standby drain overnight last night (on airplane mode) but then it drained super fast to 50% later in the day when I was uploading tons of trip pics to Facebook. Understandable, with FB being the battery hog that it is. I’m currently at 32% with 10h 24m of screen on time. It’s lasting long enough for me so I can’t really complain.

Hopefully gets better
It’s getting worse 🤦‍♂️😡 how can battery life be so bad on this beta 🤦‍♂️ iPhone 12 Pro Max is getting nowhere near the legendary battery life I was getting previously on 14.4, need beta 6 ASAP!!! 🤦‍♂️

I’d normally have more than 50% battery left at this stage 🤦‍♂️👇🤬

Spent yesterday going through the apps to see how each works under beta 5.
Something has changed with this beta. Apps launch as expected, smooth and quick, however when in the app it is like the system does a quick pause or is slow to respond to a tap. Pretty much like a lag or taking an extra microsecond to recognize your finger tap or swipe.
Seeing this both on the IPP11 and 12PM.
