no, it's not.
Downgraded to 14.4 to have a solid proof and the purple tint went away.
Because your phone doesn’t show true black levels on iOS 14.4. It’s fixed in 14.5B2. OLED have a slight delay going from turned off pixels to turned on pixels. On 14.4 the pixels aren’t turned off and therefore the smear doesn’t happen. Please search for “OLED smear” on google. This is how it’s intended to be.

Mine had been working fine with beta 4 and 5, it wasn’t working properly on beta 6.

Just rebooted both my phone and watch and then toggled the feature off and on again and then just unlocked my phone via my watch about 20 times in a row, no failures.

😂 basically what I just said

I was surprised at how much my non-original charger is charging faster (up to 50%) iPhone 11 pro.

I am still experiencing very bad image processing with the stock Camera app as I already have mentioned before ......
This are two photos shot at exact same time and light conditions with the 2,5x lens. One shot with Camera stock app and the second shot on Halide camera app. Both are zoomed in so you can see the difference clearly.

I assume the top image is the stock camera?

I’m sorry: I would not classify this as “very bad image processing” by any stretch of the imagination. For me to discern any difference, I have to zoom all the way in to very small details on your hand. There is no way that this could be called a “watercolor” effect. There simply is a tiny bit more detail and sharpness in the 2nd photo.

And that’s why apps like Halide exist.

I saw on the T-Mobile Reddit that SA is still there (at least in B5), it’s just automatic now. Hence no slider.
I can confirm that iSA 5G is there, but works bad in some spots. This modem/ carrier settings hold iphone on SA N71 with low and congested signal and sometimes makes network unusable. In the spots where is LTE or NSA 5G give me 100mbps+ I have 1-2mbps on SA 5G N71. IMO T-mobile only should go for SA 5G in N41 areas only. Tiny N71 cannot handle SA.

Yes!
I posted other photos of this problem en the beta 5 thread, and other people was experiencing this problem. Specially in medium light and low light the difference between Stock Camera and Halide is huge

I can confirm what you are seeing. I have reported it in beta 4, 5, and now 6. It appears the issue remains unchanged and unaddressed the last 3 betas now. Whatever Apple changed in beta 3 to apparently soften the photo remains unchanged.

Going through all the functions and apps like I try to do with each beta.
Changes from previous beta(s)…

12PM
Notifcations - Except for Blink, all Notifications have vanished from my Lockscreen. I have rebooted to no effect. Going to try a few manual “redo’s” of Notifications and see what happens.
IPP11 2020
Notifcations - Same issue as the 12PM except I am also getting the Quakefeed alerts (absent on the 12PM)

IPP 11
AirPods Pro - this device fails to recognize the APP in most cases. Going to try forget/repair later this morning to see if it helps.

Everything seems the same so far … crossing fingers.

Why would app developers create something like Halide if they weren't going to produce superior results?

On beta 6 I’m still getting bad battery, I’m losing like 1% a min using light use

Here I attach more examples, 2,5x lens medium to low light without having to enable Night mode. First photo Stock Camera app, second foto Halide camera app. Both zoomed in so you can see the difference better
Here I got two more examples and it's not Low light at all.

Zoomed in so you can see it better

The first one is halide camera app
Second stock camera app
2,5x lens, same conditions of light and same focus

The thing is, it MUST be a software issue of this betas,. Cause one day I was shooting photos to a friend, with 2,5x lens, same light conditions and all, and I got this results that surprised me, and both photos are shot on Apple Stock camera app

I am pretty sure you can see the difference and it is not Low light

Originally I started using Halide a couple of iPhones ago as stock iOS did not support RAW. https://halide.cam/

Decent question but you are missing the point: something changed with post picture processing for the Camera app resulting is an inferior, IMO, output. Using Halide to demonstrate the degrade in picture quality.

Toggled on of one of on off on off, the unlock with watch option. Now works ok. Weird.

This has been discussed at length on another thread. The difference is 14.4 is not calibrated for true blacks but more of a dark grey. I believe you were a major contributor of that discussion as well. So perhaps 14.5 can change that back to a grey from a black at some point release and make this less noticeable. But the consensus was/is that that is normal behavior for OLED screens.
