Any else ever experience each time the phone is rebooted it goes through the HELLO screen, choose wifi, and zoomed or regular display? Mine has been doing this on all the betas each time I boot.
Yes! This happens only on my work phone which is enrolled in MDM. Certain software versions cannot be installed until my “administrator approves” it. I bypass it using the Finder to install using the IPSW. Maybe the hello screen is related to being a MDM device, not sure.

Not 100% sure if this is new, but in Beta 5 when enabling a personal hotspot on my iPhone, my father-in-law did not have to enter the password. He tried to connect to my network, which made my iPhone ask me if I wanted to share the password with him - exactly like when sharing other WiFi-passwords.
This has been around for a bit. If the person joining your personal hotspot is in your contacts, then you’ll get a prompt asking if you’d like to share the password, similar to the wifi scenario as you described.

The thing is, it MUST be a software issue of this betas,. Cause one day I was shooting photos to a friend, with 2,5x lens, same light conditions and all, and I got this results that surprised me, and both photos are shot on Apple Stock camera app

I am pretty sure you can see the difference and it is not Low light
I am testing now at the beach with 2,5x lens .... And definitely something is wrong here.
It's 17:15pm here, lot of sun , it's no longer light situation at all. And I have test the 2,5x lens on stock camera, and it's definitely using 1x lens and cropping it, I test it covering the 1x lens when using 2,5x mode and it was black, that means it are using the 1x lens.

I attach photos now of 2,5x stock apple camera app and 2,5x Halide camera , both zoomed in so you can see the difference.

Testing last night (indoor shots) I was finding that 2.5 doesn't always get you the 2.5 lens.
Odd.
Have not looked for this before so it may be an existing issue.
Nice catch.

Same issue with my XS. 1x & 2x uses the 1x lens in Camera and Video mode. 1x & 2x switch lenses fine in Portrait and Pano mode. Halide switches lenses all the time. Verified via both Exif data and the highly technical method of sticking my finger in front of the 2x lens to see when it uses it.

This seems to happen only in low light situations. Maybe not so much an issue but making use of the wider aperture of the 1x lens to let in more light?

I suspect Widgets are going to get a whole lot better in iOS 15. Hang in there!

Most likely, but they shouldn't have showstopper bugs this way as the poster said. New iOS should bring new features, but what we have today ought to "just work" today and not be released upon us as a mass trial, on occasion.

That said, software quality at Apple is still much better than the other OS out there. 😅

Unless they become scalable and dynamic I will personally find them of little use.
That has been the biggest disappointment in iOS / iPadOS.

Dynamic, almost certainly. They are already largely scalable (assuming the developer takes advantage of that).

I love the widgets now (esp the suggested apps widget - brilliant and accurate) and am eager to see how they improve.

Not seeing really any change from the previous beta.
Starts out pretty good. Hoping it stays that way more than a few days.
Then again, it’s a beta.
Good to know! Thanks for posting. You'd think by B6 it would be stable. I'm not sure if I see a B7 or B8 considering this is an iOS 14.X beta and not iOS 15.X beta, but maybe I'm wrong. Hopefully the RC is stable when we see it in the coming weeks.

Is a new beta profile now needed to download future betas? I just noticed that the beta profile expired on April 1st.

If it's already installed, you're fine and don't need to install a new one. I read that there are new profiles on the dev site now as they were not installing properly this morning.

Currently it is showing as not verified.

The profile on the dev site?
It is probably because I don't have a paid dev account? The profile was sideloaded in the past. I can log in to a developer account though. OT here?

Ah, it says not verified cause it's expired. You will need to download a new profile from the dev site and install it.
