You need to almost touch the phone and tv screen for it to work; noticeable changes to color tones, bit more warmer and natural than previous setting. kinda like it.

Battery life is still nowhere near as good as 14.4, I’ve got 43% left 5h58m usage, normally have a extra hour or more usage by now. On WiFi all day, been running the RC build for a while now so it can’t still be indexing.
Something new to 14.5 - when an iPad is joined to an active class in the classroom app, there's a new icon at the top of the screen (resembling the classroom app icon but smaller). It used to show the airplay icon.

Well you don't really have to worry about taxes if you're rich. Jokes aside that are actually truth, I feel skittish updating, battery is doing great now. Temped for the security patches.

wow iOS 14 animations are so much slower coming from iOS 13. The XS is not slow, no lag, but the animations feel like moving hands in water vs air. Rubbish.
Did a DFU restore of my iPhone 12 Pro Max last night (to 14.5).
When I use Music Recognition in Control Center, tapping on the notification with the song it recognizes now opens shazam.com in Safari. Used to open the Shazam app.
Obviously, recognized songs are not saved in the app because of this.
Don’t recall seeing this issue on the RC, which I used from last week until last night.
Anyone else seeing this behavior?

Still can’t get it to install, not last night and not this evening. It always hangs at “preparing update.” I’ve tried deleting it in the iPhone storage and restarting and trying again and the same thing each time.
