iOS 14.7 Beta 1 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

14.6 connectivity and battery was solid on the RC (for me on a 12)
14.7 is in beta, so things are a bit up in the air for now understandably. downgraded firmware and safari heating up my phone again, is causing s**t battery life. Battery life is a hard one to call on a beta.
Id stay, as I’m only benefitting from the slightly snappier performance on 14.7 B1 to be honest. But this is just one opinion, jump down that rabbit hole if you want… if you find a blank message bar down there I know who’s lost one 😆😂
14.7 rectified the missing settings for grouped accessories in Home. (sorry if this has been mentioned already)
The tvOS version of 14.7 is really unstable. You could be at the main menu and it'll reboot without so much as launching an application. You'd think that would trigger another build being sent out.
I should say it's the 4th Generation Apple TV. Are you using build 18M5523d?
Perhaps rebooting isn't quite the right way to describe it. It's more of a crash, spinning circle and the main screen comes up.

Mail - New issue
I have the same two accounts setup on the 12PM and IPP 11.
I do have other accounts on these devices also.
I opened Mail on both, manually refreshed a couple of times, yet for these two accounts, the total Unread is different.
Both are Gmail accounts that I use for signups and items like that.
12PM - Account 1 - 15, Account 2 - 7
IPP 11 - Account 1 - 17, Account 2 - 9
the 12PM is actually the correct one when I look into the account themselves. The IPP 11 will suddenly correct itself a few seconds after actually opening the account.
Feedback reported.

Not seeing it either on 14.5.1, isn’t it meant to be in camera settings?

My screen time widget isnt working effectively on IOS 14.5., 14.6 rc2, 14.7 b1 in my IPhone 12
Even after using the phone for say 15 minutes, the screen time still shows the same time in widget. Is this happening with others too?

Mine is the Apple TV HD, not the 4k. Not sure if being on the 4K would make a difference. I've been watching it after I force quit all the apps and it'll do the blue screen, crash and restart to main screen routine every 15 minutes or so.
Sounds like you are describing whats referred to as a "springboard crash" where it dumps briefly but not a full on reboot.
With the ATT setting turned off, you should not see any fancy prompt, or if you do, it will be significantly less. I know that the apps owned by Facebook all have a fancy splash screen. This is just their method of marketing to try to keep users in the allied tracking list.

Just saw it there. I guess I overlooked that one. I have yet to call someone to try this feature though.
On a side note: Anyone else experiencing bluetooth dropping out? My AirPods Pro sometimes loose their connection. Only happens on iPad for me, however.
Check all video related apps, it's a 'per app' setting, not a universal one. Not sure what other apps are tapping into the API for it yet.
Interesting. So what's the fix? I'd rather not have to do a reset or a restore, but short of waiting for the next build, I'm not sure what to do.
