Has anyone noticed a difference in battery life? I know it's early but with the context of battery life being horrendous in 14.6 I'm hoping there's a significant improvement.

Also battery percentage went down to 92% with this beta
My battery life is perfectly fine on 14.6. The ones who complain about it are always going to complain about it.

I complained about it because my battery was dropping to 80% when it typically would be at 90%+ with similar usage. My battery tracking app (Battery Grapher) previously showed 34h remaining on 100% charge pre-14.5 and it now shows 24h with new data post-upgrade.

You are incorrectly overgeneralizing and refusing to realize that there is an issue with battery life in 14.6. It's fine if you don't have this issue but don't suggest there's not an issue at hand.

Nah, don't do that. I'm not generalizing anything. My issue is with people who consistently visit each and every beta thread trash talking iOS and iPhone because they can't end their day with 80% or higher. If you have battery issues, restore. If that doesn't help, talk to Apple. If you're making it through the day just fine and still want more battery, suck it up or buy a bigger phone.

12 ProMax
Tried to install over 5G (AT&T) - was not an available option for me.
First impressions.
Some parts seem to be speedier. Shortcuts and links as an example.
Did a quick check of existing bugs I track (Messages, Mail, Calendar, etc...) and I am not seeing any initial fixes.

Will be doing a good bit of testing / checking as the day goes.

Probably will know more within a few days. I would assume battery would be around the same as b1. Unfortunately with Beta builds, often times, with the way that they log and report, battery life would be worse when comparing to a production build. Of course, this thought does factor out any critical battery draining bugs that made it to production, like 14.6 for example.

I especially want to hear your results re Shortcuts. There is no question that they have dramatically sped up the code execution there, particularly for more complex shortcuts. I have one that calls on a Liftmaster API to open my garage door (avoiding the need for $69 Liftmaster ATM, I mean, Hub). That one used to take forever to run. Now, it usually opens my garage door (via Siri) in less than 5 seconds.

Have a few.
One that does doc downloads for me - that one is faster. Not sure how much but is noticeably faster
One that tells me time to home - about the same
Display RSS feeds - that one seems about the same
One that turns my alarm system on including cameras - a lot faster - was about 15 seconds, now about 5 seconds

Even with the new modem firmware 1.80.0 on iPhone 12 PM, it’s still just as bad as the previous beta. Constant drops. Even with full 5G.

I restored my device a few weeks ago. Granted, the reason for the restore had nothing to do with this goofy bug, but I did wipe my device and set it up as new and re-downloaded all of my apps manually.

It's not something on my device, as multiple people have been able to reproduce the issue, but I understand that not everyone will experience certain bugs and glitches.

It's not a big deal, and I basically bring it up as a joke in every new beta thread. It just gets old constantly being asked "what do you mean?" when I bring it up in jest, but clearly I only have myself to blame for that. Like I said, months ago I said I would never bring up the glitch again once iOS 15 is released, regardless of whether or not the bug persists.

It's not a big deal, and I apologize for mentioning it. Let's all please move on.
I actually have never seen this but I could reproduce it by spam opening conversations

I have iOS 14.7 beta 1, but when I go to Software Update, it says I’m up to date. Any reason that I might not be able to install beta 2?
