Really think you should be swapping your device if you're still seeing green tint.
If it ain't fixed after iOS 14.5 where Apple said it should be fixed, then I doubt it's getting fixed anytime soon.
They said it’s a software issue, they fixed raised blacks with iOS 14.5, nothing was mentioned about green tint, I’m waiting till august, then off to apple for a replacement I go 👀📱

Nah, don't do that. I'm not generalizing anything. My issue is with people who consistently visit each and every beta thread trash talking iOS and iPhone because they can't end their day with 80% or higher. If you have battery issues, restore. If that doesn't help, talk to Apple. If you're making it through the day just fine and still want more battery, suck it up or buy a bigger phone.
I can agree with you on the consistent trash talking of iOS/iPhone. I probably misunderstood your original reply as discrediting those who are actually experiencing degraded battery performance instead of complaining for the sake of complaining -- sorry about that.

With regards to the current issue, I restored my phone, which didn't help. Talked to Apple support two times and was given unhelpful advice both times (told to fully discharge before charging the first time, got sent a support article about possible drain causes the second time). I just want the same (or nearly the same) battery life that I had when I initially purchased the phone, which I think is a reasonable expectation.

After installing 14.7b2, I only lost 5% in 5 hours on standby, which is a promising start.

Agree, this is the biggest load of lies I’ve ever heard, restoring your phone hardly ever fixes your issues.

I am also getting two different current weather and forecasts for the same place now.

Needless to say, the blank bar bug in the Messages app is still present.

It’s actually come to be one of my favorite iOS features. Hope it never gets fixed.
Have not noticed this but I have reduced animations on because the constant fade in and fade out effect when opening and closing apps does my head in. I can’t deal with that

Yeah me too. Saves some battery life having it off to. I really liked having the “prefer cross fade transitions” on as well. Felt like it sped up my phone loads, super snappy, with all that sliding being stopped. But it has started to effect how some apps work recently from 14.6. Will go back to it once some apps have sorted the glitch out.

😆 we’ve been telling him for years. Think he’s getting on a bit now. Bless him.
It gets better 🤦‍♂️Feel like my iPhone 12 Pro Max has turned into my previous xs max.

42% battery left, 4h14m usage.

If I wanted this kind of battery life, I would’ve purchased a Samsung phone 🤦‍♂️

Public beta 2 tomorrow? 🤔

I noticed that in this latest beta that when disabling the shortcuts notifications you don’t have to wait forever for it to allow you to turn them off, it lets you click on it right away :)

The PB might be delayed if this issue is widespread:

Appears to impact some phones with eSIMs.

I've had a long-running issue where a shortcut which speaks the result after a lamguage translation fails when run from a widget. It used to work if "Hey Siri" was disabled, or if run from within the Shortcuts app itself. Now it fails with a generic "shortcut couldn't run" error regardless of the Hey Siri setting. It's a weird one; I assume it's Siri related.

Other bugs (mainly calendar events being removed from the widget after 15 minutes even if the duration is longer, and photos not exporting title/description/keywords metadata when saving as jpeg) still present since original 14.6 betas.

Batteries, tints, etc...:D . These threads are so much more fun when we're all finding new features or ways of doing things, rather than complaining.

Coming soon!

I hear ya. But while we don’t have any new features, so no new ways of doing things, can we talk about batteries and tints? Jokes.

I think the complaining is sometimes just frustration about something on the beta. I know I vented about battery health dropping quickly on these betas, because I was just frustrated about the effect it was having on a new-ish phone.

But I won’t bang on about it in every beta like some broken record 👜😜 @LFC2020
