not a new feature but one I forgot about for years is scrolling between open apps JUST from the bar at the bottom on the phone. Press on it,and swipe right. You can flick through open apps instead of swiping up and then scrolling through multitask. Much faster.

Can you explain further? I'm not following. If I press on the four apps in the dock, it goes into Jiggle mode.
 
Battery ... ugh. Hoping to see some consistency with this beta ... crossing digits.

14.6 was not great and RC was all over the place day to day.
Not seeing anything better on beta 1. Maybe beta 2?

Using SpectrumTV, YouTube, Netflix - at odd times the video will freeze. If I switch channels or leave the app then go right back into it the video resumes real-time like it was playing in the background but frozen on-screen.

I think the complaining is sometimes just frustration about something on the beta. I know I vented about battery health dropping quickly on these betas, because I was just frustrated about the effect it was having on a new-ish phone.

But I won’t bang on about it in every beta like some broken record 👜😜 @LFC2020

Its like getting to the end of school year: you just want it to end and everything is annoying. Come back after the summer and its all brand new and fun again!

I have an iPhone XS and can't figure this out. I'm being stupid, but.... To me the "home bar" is the line across the Lock Screen, andI can't make any press-and-swipe work there. And the Dock doesn't allow it either as far as I can tell. :(

The home bar is there in applications as well.

On the home screen, swipe left (there's no press involved) under the dock where the home bar would be.

You don’t have to press. Just swipe that line.

you need some apps open to swipe through. Then just tap and swipe. Maybe try a quicker motion.

have you not got that first day fear of are you going to wake up to your alarm for ios15?

I’m dreading all the sh*t we will have work through just to get an email to notify or a message bar to appear 😆😂
 
Oh yes, the first few days of a new iOS. When we're all fresh faced, and logging bugs in Feedback we're sure Apple is going to read and quickly fix. And wondering why we can't ban the "battery is snappier!" funnies.

Anyone with dual sim getting the E-Sim failure issue that was reported by some blogs? I have not installed yet so holding off until more info is available.

Not getting it here. I have T-Mobile USA on physical SIM and Mint on eSIM. Had 14.7 b2 installed for about 24 hours and all is well..... so far.
Over at 9to5 Mac one of the comments attached to the article described this happening "randomly on a Saturday night" (I think). So not sure if it happens immediately after install of b2, or "randomly" at any time after. Anyone know any more details?
