Solid beta. All of my apps are working fine. I haven’t found anything wrong when using my normal workflow.

I love that we can finally search for emojis! Long overdue.
You can! On iPhone not iPad. I just learned!

I saw main post said favourites had gone on long press/3D touch phone or FaceTime. Every single 3D Touch pop up has gone for me?

Which seems deliberate, given they were effectively widget pop ups. Thoughts?

Seems and unnecessary step back as I may not want a permanent widget from every single app but would want to quickly press and see some info :(

I guess Apple is really going with that circle circle-ish kind of thing. Well here’s to my trypophobia! 🤣🤣

That was my entry to the wiki. Long-press (haptic thingy) is working on other apps. For example, the App Store has the usual list so I can go directly to updates. Direct to Wifi or Bluetooth on Settings etc etc. Try rebooting?

Are any of you on the Public Beta via an email with an invitation? I was surprised to receive that!

iPadOS seems pretty smooth so far (with the exception of being kicked back to the lock screen while changing a wallpaper. An issue that I have been unable to replicate though).

I’ve got the lists but not the expanded widget like cards we used to get. E.g. notes would expand to show a preview of a note, calendar would expand and show next event, maps would show destinations - and all would have an ‘add widget’ button. So it doesn’t seem like it’s just phone and FaceTime, but all apps that had that old style widgets. I’m seeing third party affected too.

2 things I've noticed so far on the Notes app (on iPP 12.9" 2018)
1. It's now black instead of the dark gray
2. the eraser using the Apple Pencil no longer deletes the whole stroke. It now functions like an eraser and only erases the bit where you actually erase.

I have 64GBs on my phone and I was at like 29.8 GBs left pre-installation and it jumped to 60.4 GBs

I gladly restored and all but yeah that was a shock lmfao

You erased and reinstalled 13.5.1 then OTA updated back to 14.0 I assume? Did that solve it? I assume with Beta 2 it’ll sort it’s self out with a permissions repair.

Anyone notice that it now tells you if your phone is locked or not in the settings.

Just noticed it. My Verizon phone says ‘No SIM restrictions’. Good to know since it should’ve been unlocked day one.

Apparently AirPods will soon report their serial number to your phone so you don’t have to struggle to read it from inside the lid. Yaaaaaay.

Maybe the eraser was always there and I just had my settings the other way around.

AirPods already reported their serial number when connected in previous iOS versions. Definitely in iOS 13, but pretty sure it was in 12 as well. Was in General > About, has it moved now?
