I guess Apple is really going with that circle circle-ish kind of thing. Well here’s to my trypophobia!View attachment 926190
AirPods already reported their serial number when connected in previous iOS versions. Definitely in iOS 13, but pretty sure it was in 12 as well. Was in General > About, has it moved now?
You can put the app on a separate page then hide the page completely.Stupid question. But it seems to have the widget I need the app for it. For example. I created an Apple Music widget. But I don’t need the app and the widget installed. Is there no way to install the widget? And eliminate the app icon? It seems redundant to me. 🤷🏻♂️
What does it mean to “move” something to the app library? I thought all apps show up in the app library, and all you can manage is turning off pages of the grid from being displayed?Haven’t tried an app yet that doesn’t work.
Only issue I’m experiencing is that I can’t move my Apple Watch app and the fitness app from the home screen to the app library without unpairing, and that’s not going to happen.
All in all, seems surprisingly smooth for a dev beta 1 release.
How is this thing performing on your daily driver?
Works with Netflix and NBC apps too. I’ve noticed that with the apps if the volume isn’t max I’m not hearing audio.YouTube works with PIP only on safari
Because installing the beta OS didn’t magically install a new version of the YouTube app that supports PIP.YouTube works with PIP only on safari
How do I hide a separate page? It seems like it should be easier to hide the icon. For example. If I create a podcast widget. And Apple Music widget. There should be an easier way to hide the app icon. Cause I don’t need both. If that makes sense. You can put the app on a separate page then hide the page completely.

How’s Mail?
Just drag it off the right of your screen onto a new page. Then hide that page by pressing and holding the dots on the bottom of the screen above the dock. How do I hide a separate page? This is totally the best iOS ever. I think it’s not possible to set a default browser in iOS? Only in iPadOS?
When you go into wiggle mode, tap the circles on the bottom for page indicator. Then deselect the pages you don't want. How do I hide a separate page? New apps don't get placed onto a new page. They're just hidden immediately. What does it mean to “move” something to the app library? I thought all apps show up in the app library, and all you can manage is turning off pages of the grid from being displayed?
Eh...
Pretty much the same as it was on iOS 13. I’m experiencing all the same issues.
Correct. Again folks, lots of features depend on new versions of apps. In this case, apps have to mark themselves as eligible to become a default in a particular category. Likely because Apple wants to screen and make sure that scam apps don’t nominate themselves to become defaults where they shouldn’t.I believe that apps have to add support for being set as the default browser or mail app, because they have to be updated to handle whatever API is called to open them. So you won't see the option until the public release.

You don;’t delete them. You hide them. Press and hold the “...” page indicator above the dock. This has probably been answered but how do you delete app pages?
Yeah that's probably a bug? Wouldn't make much sense otherwiseSure, but the watch app, etc. couldn’t be “new” apps, so I still don’t get what this complaint is about.
Not seeing that - which device? For the love of god, I cant figure out why Siri shows up on full screen when i ask a question or current weather.. am I missing something or this is how it is gonna be?

Thx, didnt see that before and changed it now. Really a nice option to have!
edit:
But wait... does this mean, if i deleted all my apps, and downloaded them to the library, i wouldnt have any apps on homescreen anymore? Hmm, i need to test this, and see how i like it.
