Was pleasantly surprised to see the News App is completely dark in Dark Mode on iPadOS 14. Even article backgrounds. I've been waiting for this for literally ever. Jony Ive White Room influence seems to be finally vanquished.

Setting up the “Back Tap” in Accessibility is a game changer.

A double tap brings up Control Center and a triple tap triggers Reachability.

I run every year and it's only been an issue on like 2 iOS versions (not a dev but I am trying to learn basics in coding. very very slowly)

If I go into an iMessage conversation and try to select multiple photos to delete them all at once, it doesn’t work. Like I can’t tap on the photos. I have to press and hold on each photo separately to delete them one by one

Everyone keeps saying this is quick but they’re right! On my 6S Plus it’s quicker and smoother than iOS 13 for sure. Opening a photo for editing used to take 2 seconds, now it’s instant. Looks like they really squashed bugs.

Oh and in case anyone is wondering you can no longer rotate to landscape on the home screen on a Plus device. All the apps still rotate as they should. I’m guessing this is designed because of the widgets.

Not all apps, but many. Not clear what the message really means - which interfaces is it protecting, etc.

Just downloaded iOS 14 and it's pretty smooth so far. One thing I noticed is, that some of my Safari-bookmarks I had on my HomeScreen disappeared but still can be found via Search.
How do I delete them and where are they?

Lots of apps have that problem. They may be using a common technique to determine if the device is jail broken, and the technique doesn’t work. Sometimes they check to see if /bin/bash is present and assume that means jail breaking has occurred, for example, and maybe in this beta it’s present

We are talking about iphone, not ipad. On ipad there has been pip for years.

In photos, locations aren't showing up at all on my XS. On phone and iPad, under the pictures is a "Add A Caption" section, which is neat.

On my IPP 11" the new Search works. I did it with a 2 finger swipe down with and without mouse. Also with regular 1 finger pull down

yeah Barclays is the same for me and Starling Bank won't open at all.

Yes it’s available. I just got finished setting it up.

if I try to delete an app it gives me the option to „add it to the Library“. Not sure what that even means in this context

I would love it there was a way to create a shortchut to the app library. Then set it as a double tap on the back and avoiding to go home and swipe and you can now pull up apps from any screen.
