I don’t think a Beta will fix this. As long as the app sees an unknown identifier for the OS it might trigger the jailbreak alert

Yea app issues are mostly fixed by updates to the app, but some don't bother until the live OS drops.

Damn that sucks. On my iPad Air 2 once I hard rebooted a few times it went back to normal. I haven’t installed it on my iPhone yet because people are saying it’s still there

Did they fix the issue of not being able to select multiple photos in the messages app for deletion? In beta 1, the tap on the Photos wouldn’t register

I’ve read every page of this thread and don’t see the infamous notification badge on the settings icon that was an issue for some in previous betas going back to 13.xx.
My SE 2020 has it and I can’t get rid of it. Nothing within the settings app is indicated. Is there a fix for this? Anyone with this issue in the past recall? I can’t remember but never had this on all the 13.xx betas until beta 2 in iOS 14.

I remember there being a fix, but don't remember what. Fortunately, it didn't affect me.

Ya know, it's interesting that you mentioned 2020 SE. That's what mine is...

Wonder if it's a device specific issue for whatever reason. I'm honestly not overly concerned about potential data loss. I use iCloud for pretty much everything, so if my phone WERE to end up wiped...I know I could get it all back from iCloud. Still annoying though!

Maybe. I think it did it on my SE2020 for the first beta. At first thought it was a storage thing, but my wife had less free on her 11PM, and didn't get that recovery step.

Recovery process has completed. Everything I expected to have...is all here! And so is beta 2. Interesting. Since that is now the second time I've had this happen...bug report being typed up now!

Cool. Same happened to me with the first. I had thought at first I was too low on storage, so it was going to kick me back to 13, but it was like you where I was on 14 with everything intact when it was all over.

You now have to dismiss via button press the sleep do not disturb screen, in B1 you could just swipe up

There's a glyph on the volume bar in CC when they're connected but I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to.

Not sure if this was mentioned already but temps are cutting off at the bottom parts of the numbers on the weather widget multi-hour view. Also, the alignment of the temps seems to be off. Weird!

Yea I think I would like a little more range before closing. I almost always have to try again if I want to just swipe a little to bring up the app list.

I can no longer remove legacy widgets that reappeared since upgrading from b1, can’t rule out user error but I don’t have the edit option at the bottom of the screen and entering wiggle mode only lets me remove the stock widgets?

When I put in in wiggle mode and scroll down edit is there and seems to work as normal. iPhone XS

I think so. Before it would just say missed call when they were auto sent to voicemail. This is much better!

Widgets on both iOS and MacOS (latest betas) don't update properly. Same as previous beta.

I have different temps in different weather views. However, the easiest way to see the mess is in the Stocks widget. One value for the individual stock price; another value for the small 2x2 widget showing three stocks, and finally a third value when clicking it and opening the app.

Another example ... create a calendar event on my laptop (or icloud.com) and it syncs to my phone. I know this as the alert will sound. However, I've waited at least half an hour and the calendar widget refused to show it, even when clicking the widget and opening the calendar app (where it shows correctly).

Luckily I'm not developing an app with widgets, but if I was I'd not understand how to get them to update or how often I could get them to update. Are details of widget development standards available anywhere to read?

The News app widget does not appear to be working. I have seen in the comments a few people had this issue, did you resolve it? If so, how?

I had some issues with my widget page and had to uninstall some. After a few reinstalls the news app is back. Also did several reboots to try and straighten out other issues. Not sure what worked for the news widget. Biggest gripe with news widget is it rarely updates but it’s a beta so there is that...

Mine was at @28gb immediately after the update. After a reboot it dropped to 21gb and seems to be fluctuating... gonna let it run for a while and check later...
