Was it the same when you were on iOS 13? Or did it change when you installed iOS 14? Seems iOS 14 has a ton of storage data taken up in the “other” section

I may have to hold off for beta 3 then as I listen to Spotify everyday while I’m working.
Yeah it was weird. Not sure how else to describe it! While it was happening on Beta 1, I googled it just for the heck of it since I had NEVER experienced data recovery before. The article I found was from some guy who was updating his daughter's iPod and had the same thing. It entered data recovery and when it was done, everything was still there and the software was up to what he was initially trying to update to. My phone was still going through the process at the time I was reading that, so it was reassuring to read.
I've just tried the translation app for the first time. Got an error saying it wasn't available, Switched from "English UK" to "English US" and it worked (into any language).
Spotify: Working for me (free user, no premium). iPhone 11, playing (via airplay to my AVR) in the background while I do other stuff.
EDIT: Next morning and I switched the "from" language back to 'English UK' and translate is still working.

So I'm seeing it on an iPhone 11 Pro while Spotify is in the background and I'm on another app (that does not request audio).

can't replicate this. I am playing out of phone speakers, so not sure if maybe you get a different result with headphones.
So are you saying Apple can't change anything because someone would have to "learn an extra step?" How does that work?
Figured. It seems it’s an issue with iOS 14. For me luckily the storage freed up on my iPad Air after 2 hard reboots. I’ll wait til beta 3 and hopefully it’s fixed so I can install it on my iPhone X
Zollotech reckons changing the wallpaper doesn’t fade the colors on your home screen and wallpaper anymore.

Millions of people are going to update to iOS 14 and wonder "how do I add and remove widgets? There used to be a button right here!". That's what I'm saying. And the edit button is still there on the Mac, it's inconsistent.
Beta 1 was very slow and everything was suddenly freezing on my iPhone 6s Max.
I have resetted it with iTunes and I‘m using my test Apple ID now. Beta 2 works very fine for me. No freezes so far, not slow. Works very fast. The weather widget is still broken but it will be fixed.
And are you really sure that third party apps like Spark have to update their apps that we can choose it as default or has Apple disabled it for the first betas because it’s not working well?
