I've seen you mention this over the course of the last two beta cycles and still have yet to come across a situation where it makes a difference.

I'll go ahead and submit a report on it. In the meantime, can you explain how this impacts you so negatively?
I’ll chime in. Sometimes you want to send a series of photos to someone in which the viewing order matters and gives the photos context. When they are out of order, it can mess that up.

Anyone else have this?

Sure.

In my line of work, I have to take periodic photos of certain stages of a project and then send them to people who can gauge how things are progressing.

In a perfect world (the way things worked until iOS 13), I could open the Photos app, select the 12 photos I need to send, and use the share sheet to send them via Messages to the people who need to see them. All of the photos would be sent in chronological order (the order that they appear in my Photo Library).

Now, with iOS 13/14, instead of the photos being sent in the order in which they were taken...the photos are sent in a completely random order which makes it harder to determine how the project is actually progressing.

Obviously I’ve developed some work-arounds for this issue, but it’s still very frustrating...especially because it used to work perfectly.

I guess I’m just surprised that more people seem to not care about the order in which their photos are sent. If you wanted to send vacation photos to a friend, for example...wouldn’t you prefer that they be sent chronologically as opposed to a random order?

Ah well. Thanks for submitting the report!

Yeah, same here. Just make sure to report it in the Feedback app. This has already been an issue thru the beta process. Was fixed after one of the betas and now we're back to this again. It's caching and logging and stuff, indexing and moving files. Stuff like this will be addressed before the GM is released for sure. I'm at 50.37GB right now myself, after having 138+GB after b2 and then 0GB in b4

First try with ios 14 with this beta. Exchange mail account with mfa not working on iPhone or iPad. Had to delete account on both devices. On my iPhone checking mail never finishes it seems.

The location of the setting. I’ve been unable to find out how to navigate to the internet accounts section of Settings to add/remove accounts such as gmail, exchange, etc.
Settings > Passwords & Account
No, the accounts section is moved in iOS14. Accounts is now located with Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Notes and Reminders. Go into any one of those selections and the Accounts section will be in there to manage your accounts.

Still there.

Go to Settings > Siri & Search and make sure “Suggestions when Sharing” is toggled on.

Thanks for the heads up! This has actually always been on for me, but I toggled it off and back on to try and reactivate the feature. No dice.

In beta 4, even with the toggle ON, they still wouldn't show up. The only thing that fixed it was a restore. I hope it's as easy as turning the toggle on for @Sharkoneau

Unfortunately not :/ I really don’t want to do a restore, seems like a dumb bug. I’ve made two reports regarding this and find it hard to believe that nobody else has shared similar feedback.

B5 seems to mostly be good for my devices! Did appear to have a random reboot on my iPhone earlier. Might be a one off though. Still need to try out my APP and Microsoft Teams audio calls.

Not a bug, but a design change. It appears that way since you don’t have any Home devices to fill the second row, so what you are seeing is just blank placeholders. Not a great design. Should be able to dynamically change based on how many devices you have. See the screen shot from my CC in dark mode, which shows the placeholders much clearer.

I really hope it isn’t a design change bc it’s not clean at all . I think it will adjust based on what you have favorited in the future/final release.

At least I hope so lol

I can still unlock my iPhone with FaceID when I have a mask on. In the beginning I figured it learned my face but it also works with a completely different mask so on one hand I am like great, its actually convenient, on the other hand I am not sure how secure that actually is. One mask is green with a colorful pattern on it and the other mask is a white surgical mask, so they are not even anything alike.

That’s weird cause for me it unlocked when I was wearing this polka dot green mask for the longest time and then when I tested it with the other mask I had been wearing it didn’t unlock and prompted for my password.

On my Xs Max, AirPods Pro still no sound on calls, even if you put them on the case and on again several times, and most of time the does not connect on the bluetooth or airplay settings. Reseting the AirPods, deleting and repair does not work, and when it sounds at ending the call, they would disconnect and will not appear in airplay settings.

So the sun in the weather widget is now orange instead of yellow. But if you tap on the widget to open the weather app the sun is yellow. I hope this is a bug. Bright yellow looks better.

I’m having issues installing this, it downloads, prepares update about 3/4 of the way and then instantly just goes back to “update requested” and then hangs there until phone restart which only does the same thing, download, process 3/4 and then stuck on Update requests,

Anyone else / a solution?
