Mine ended up coming back! I think you just have to share a lot and they repopulate. Definitely weird to have them erased completely though.
I did some digging and realized I’d turned it off in preferences.
That said, I still only get text in previews for messages; no option to click a link at all. Just an alphabet soup of a Web address.
Is it just me or are alerts between the iPhone and Apple Watch out of sync? I don’t seem to be getting normal alerts between the two.
Me too. I don’t even get most alerts or phone calls on my AW or when I do it is not haptic. Just silent.

Nope, not that I've seen. We will just have to wait until the apps get updates in the lead up to iOS 14's release (if any are aiming to have it available at launch).
No such issue here, granted I run both apps via their TestFlight betas. Try installing the Discord TestFlight to see if the issue still persists (WhatsApp TestFlight has been full & closed for 2 years now).
There aren't and there probably wont because Apple has to hand out entitlement manually to apps. It's not something you can test via TestFlight.
I spoke to the Outlook support guys on this and they advised they were not even aware this was a 'thing'...... Impressive as always... Also testing out Canary and Airmail and no signs of such preparation there yet. Mind you I'm not sure they can implement it until iOS is opened up for it to be coded.
It will need Xcode 12, and apps using Xcode 12 cannot be submitted to the App Store yet (won't be until nearer iOS 14's release), and it's believed (I've read this in places, and TimFL has also said this) that Apple has to grant the ability for apps to be able to do so. This will be so that you don't get random apps trying to offer that ability.

This has less to do with developers having a plan in place, it really boils down to Apple being the gatekeeper. There was this famous Android screenshot floating around here a while ago that showcased the "pick default browser" screen being bloated with apps like random games etc that probably figured "hey, i can do browser too".Yep read the same myself. Apple wants to prevent this and thus has to grant the entitlement to be a browser or mail app. Makes sense to me honestly. They already confirmed (MKHBD interview with Craig) that they'll entitle the usual suspects you expect to be there day 1 by default (e.g. Chrome, Firefox or stuff like Outlook or GMail).
It's afaik the same for CarPlay apps like Google Maps being able to offer navigation / show up in CarPlay.

When I do the normal email to pdf in Mail it works but crashes after it saves the pdf to Files.
