I think it may be the only one that has more than one contact that is all green. I have others with multiples, but at least one contact is blue. And have other threads with green but they are just one contact
I think the group with one SMS contact is treated as a SMS group, regardless that other contacts in that group are on iMessages. My one group that doesn't pin properly is 5 contacts on iMessages and one contact on SMS.
My pinned single-contact on iMessages stays pinned on multiple devices. I don't have a single-contact SMS pinned.

Anyone else having frequent AirPods Pro disconnects on this beta?

Sometimes it reconnects and other times they just stay disconnected and had to be manually connected in the Bluetooth settings.

Since the AirPods firmware update, I now get the “AirPods Connected” prompt every time I wake the phone.

Tried “forgetting” and rebooting the AirPods, but that didn’t help. Rebooted the phone, too, but that didn’t help either.

iPhone 11 Pro

Appears to be by design now, as an indicator as to what device they are connected to, as part of auto switching.

Oh no...

EDIT: you’re right. When I go into the AirPods settings and switch from “Automatically” to “When Last Connected to This iPhone,” then the prompt stops popping up each time the phone wakes up. Cool.

Set the replacement phone up as a new device but don't sign it into your Apple ID. Install the Beta profile. Update it to the beta, then once updated, erase all content and settings and set it up again, this time signing into your Apple ID and restoring your backup.

So if I remove the dev eta profile right now on beta 8 when final GM comes out it will update to final build?

If you remove the profile now you won’t get the GM build until Apple release it to the public, keep the profile on until you get the GM build installed.

Just a quick question, as I updated my backup device (iPhone X) to iOS 14 beta 8 yesterday:
Has anybody else problems with swyping left/right throu the home screens?

It happens (randomly but quite often), that the swyping is not recognized correctly and I have to try again. Never had that issue with iOS13, nor do I notice it on my iPhone 11 with iOS 14 beta 8 on it.

Is that a known issue on iPhone X?

Everyone: if there is an update today, make sure to check what you’re actually updating to. Make sure it’s not iOS 14.1b1
There will always be bugs... but iOS 14 has been very solid from the start, at least in my experience.
I agree. There have been plenty of the expected bugs along the way, but to me the entire iOS 14 experience is much improved over iOS 13. No matter how “stable” they can make it. And iOS 14b8 has been rock solid for me. If this was released to the public, I’m sure there’d be plenty of very happy people.

And, as always, a few will be ready to jump off the ledge because Apple had the gaul to release it with some video or menu stutter somewhere deep in the bowels of the OS. :D
