It's there on iPhone 7 for me, running iOS beta 8 and the latest version of Chrome that came out a few days ago. Perhaps reinstalling Chrome might help?
I reinstalled chrome and rebooted the phone and it is now working. Thanks for the idea. Sometimes it’s a simple thing.😉

Am I the only one seeing awful performance on beta 8? I’ve gotten my 10th respring of the day. Hangs on boot. I’ve had to hard reset after a hard reset..

Phone applications crashes
Messages application crashes
Facebook crashes
Facebook messenger crashes
Missing app icons
Constant baby crying notification.
Spotlight can’t find any contacts

And randomly while typing this, faceid popped up twice for no apparent reason.
No mail in mail.. which is false
Failure to save screen shots

Had to take photos with webcam because iOS isn't saving screenshots

So when you tap ‘share...’ in the individual message does it just disappear? Thanks.
Yes it disappears and I assume my profile pic is shared with the person receiving the message. I did, of course, have to send a couple of messages to test it out with replies of “What’s all this about then?“ That’s when the explanation gets complicated🥴🥴

LOL I bet! Thanks for confirming!

Being able to have Chrome as the default browser is great. Only downside is Crystal doesn’t work for it so you get a lot more ads appearing when browsing, especially on forums

Three phones currently running IOS 14 Beta, 11P, 11PM and 20 SE. Began beta's at various points on them, but no beta started later than the 5th. Always updated to the then current beta and currently running Beta 8 on all three. I can honestly say that except for a stray app that would crash and not load (until it was updated by the developer), I've never had a respring on any of the devices. Few stray known bugs only.

Time to perform Factory Reset on your phone and set it up as new.

My only issue with iOS 14 betas is they have broken dynamic app links where links in safari or in pdf's don't launch their respective app. They just open a page in safari. However, my wife's iPhone on iOS 13.7 launches apps correctly.

Is it just me or is calendar notifications bugged? I'm getting notifications on both my Apple Watch and my iPhone for deactivated calendars. This didn't happen before and it's starting to drive me insane. Disabling calendar notifications completely fixes this but I have a lot in my calendar that I want to be notified about.

I'm getting birthday notifications. Notifications from shared Office 365 calendars and whatnot even though they are disabled within the Calendar.app.

Settings App - Chrome

Pleased to see Apple allow the changing of the default browser, even though I don’t use one myself.

There was a lot of talk back in February that we would also be able to choose alternative Mail apps and Navigation apps.

No sign of that yet. I’m particularly interested in having Google Maps as my default. I find its automatic re-routing based upon live traffic information invaluable.

Mail will be possible too. Maps not (yet). I also prefer Google Maps because Apple Maps isn’t good.

Found a funny translation mistake of what I can only assume is „Own order“ in English. They used the wrong term for order like „Eigene Bestellung“ literally means something like your „order of pizza“ or your order on Amazon, not SORTING of something. Should be changed to „Eigene Anordnung“ or „Eigene Sortierung“

So I have notice this since Beta 4, and I wondering if this lag in the keyboard and scrolling from time to time is an issue with RAM. It’s gotten better over the betas don’t get me wrong, but everyone single time a new beta is out. My 11 pro is buttery smooth. About a day and half later, the keyboard has a noticeable lag when typing in messages, and then the closing transition of many apps it’s sluggish. Then I start seeing some jitters when scrolling. Again it’s gotten better in the betas, but seeing as we are pretty close to the finished product, not sure this won’t be an issue in the first release. To me if that’s the case, as a user, I wouldn’t want to upgrade. It really does make your phone feel like it’s old hardware.

Edit: and when I say RAM issues, I mean RAM management issues in iOS 14. The 11 pro and pro max have plenty of RAM, it seems like the management of RAM is lacking in iOS 14.

I have this problem since iOS 13. Reported it but it still exists.
Sometimes I cannot open the subscriptions page in the App Store with wifi. When I’m switching back to LTE it works.

Just picked up airpods today. Noticed they aren’t showing as option for audio out the AppleTV which I have on the beta iOS 14.

Others having same issue ?

iPadOS latest public beta, when going into PiP mode in safari, iPad pro resprings every time.

Anyone else having this issue?

I'm not sure if this has been posted. On your iPad, does it just start activating without taking any action? I'm watching videos on YouTube and all of a sudden the video will minimize and automatically go the that channel's homepage. Or FB or Twitter will just go to a link or open a page? Happens on Reddit too. It happened on b6-8. I submitted feedback and they said to test it on b8 but it's still happening. Yes, I did update the feedback.
If this does happen to you, what did you do maybe to stop it?

A new bug I’ve just experienced, seen better clocks 😂
