iOS 14 Broken/Buggy Apps

Is anyone having issues with Messages. It freezes constantly and then force quits itself. Have been reading multiple sites and am not seeing it being called out.

There has been a number of issues with Messages.
- vanishing keyboards
- opens without any displayed info then crashes
- freezes or crashes when you use Messages to share items
- more ....

As far as I know, many here with these and other issues have reported the issues.
If you run across one, regardless of others, report it. Every little bit helps.

App FaceID will not work to sign into the app on my ProMax. Using login / password works fine.

Same problem here on the first call. Switch to speaker and back to airpods and that seems to work without having to hang up and redial.

No such problems on my old 5s.

Wemo absolutely does not work. I just got a box of smart plugs today and they refuse to add themselves to Homekit, either via the Wemo app or the Apple Home app.

Corona Warn App in Germany just got updated today. Version 1.2.0 crashes instantly on launch.

At the beginning of beta 4 it was working.

Hello

I have an iPhone XS Max running pubic beta 2 (which is PB 1 actually I thought, but it says 2).

I initially noticed the issue on my watch but now I see the same behavior on my phone notifications. When an email comes in I receive a notification on the watch and the phone from Outlook that says:

New Message
Open Outlook to read your message

I have checked all the notification and privacy settings and I found a setting in Notifications for Outlook. Under options it offers "Show Previews" and I set it to Always. But no luck.

In the past, I always could see a preview of the message. My iPad, still on iPad OS 13.6, works fine. Any ideas?

Corona Warn App in Germany just got updated today. Version 1.2.0 crashes instantly on launch.

At the beginning of beta 4 it was working.

I've noticed an error with WhatsApp - If you go into the Photos app / Select a Photo / Share via WhatsApp / Choose contact / try and type a message / keyboard appears / as soon as you start typing keyboard disappears.

Is anyone else getting this?

I've reported this to Apple.

The Vanishing Keyboard (VK) has been happening in a few apps. Under the B4 thread I have a video showing it in Messages and have had it happen in Twitter and Mail.

Don’t use WhatsApp or Facebook so I cannot comment on it there.

I was logged into the app and it worked fine; I had to log out, and for whatever reason now it crashes before I can get anywhere close to being able to log in.

• Adobe Photoshop - can’t save cropping
• Alto's Odyssey - plays ok, but graphics are messed up
• August - finds lock, communicates with it but won’t unlock or lock.
• Barclaycard (jailbreak warning on beta 1 but still works. Beta 2 does not work) - Works on DB4 with no issues.
• BlueJeans - Works up until you press the “Join meeting” button then crashes
• Bowling Crew - Everything seems to work except the game against an opponent. The opponent search spins for a lot longer than normal then comes back with an error.
• Cardiofit - launches but crashes as soon as you try to connect to a bluetooth device.
• Charles Proxy - VPN shows as connected, but no network requests are logged or shown in the app
• Citi Mobile App - Won’t let you turn on FaceID. Says the phone is jailbroken.
• Comfort - GE Appliances - launches and on /off controls work but additional controls (temperature, fan speed, etc) cause app to crash - tested with window A/C unit
• Costco app launches but hangs before completely starting on Mini 5.
• DayOne - defaults to italic in the body of the journal entry, can't be set to normal.
• DJI Mimo - Has issues connecting to the Osmo Action camera.
• Deliveries by Junecloud - can't sync with delivery providers (now works in DB3)
• Downcast - Unable to directly delete a podcast by long pressing on it.

• Files App OneDrive integration - in order to get it to work every reboot I have to log out of the OneDrive app and log back in (with OneDrive for Business)
• Files App - SMB Shares - Not always showing up. A reboot fixes it.
• Freestlye LibreLink - was working to PB4, now wont launch / buttons dont work
• HM launches but you’re only able to see your membership QR code. No other features works.
• Informant - cannot see Reminders
• Instagram - Launching app from a notification causes page to not load properly..visually, page is "zoomed in." Also, doing this from multiple accounts can cause app to load into last used account but from the other account launched into from notification. Always launch app directly to avoid posting/liking from wrong account!
• Lowe's - Freezes upon searching or trying to sign in to the app.
• Microsoft Teams App File Upload not working due to broken OneDrive Files integration
• Migros (CH). Some parts give an error. Could be a coincidence - will test again tomorrow if I remember
• MobileIron: treats the device as jailbroken, which may cut off your access to corporate resources
• Nintendo Switch Online: App launched but does not connect after logging in. Endless loop
• Omnifocus: App Opens, but crashes upon trying to add tasks. (Still works on iPadOS)
• Remote: Works basically as it should, but just crashes pretty frequently
• SmartHQ – launches, but quits when you tap to the appliance control screen
• Twitter: UI issues. Text are unreadable sometimes. If the text is white, the text box is white too. Sorted in DB3
• TripLog: MileTracking app crashes during trips.
• UBS Access App (CH): treats the device as jailbroken.
• VMWare Horizon - Crashes on connection to VDI

Has anyone had trouble with the books app? I can get any books or pdfs to open.
