Are you supposed to be able to have a blank home screen?
and you need to know this every time you wake your phone? Silly implementation. It should only appear when it notices a different connection
Yesterday when I was removing all the apps from my home screen to set up my previous layout after a fresh install, I had a blank home screen with just the dock apps. No other pages, just the App Library. Wonder why it isn’t working for you.
Maybe I just need to do a fresh install. My blank homescreen went away after beta 6 or 7.
Unless you had the Apple WatchOS7 beta profile installed as well, you have to wait for WatchOS7 to come out (which will be about now).

It’s intentional and I get it even when not using an app, just when I unlock
It’s handy, as sometimes I’ll put them in and not know which device I last had them connected to. You don’t seem to like much that Apple does, it seems.
It’s possible. I wasn’t expecting it to work but after I removed the last app I tapped done and it let it stay there blank.
That's what I thought, but to me, if devs are having new failures with GM vs B8, there has to be some sort of difference
So go to Outlook Settings like you had to go into Chrome Settings for the browser?
Public release is same build number, not that that was a surprise.

I'm on a Mac on MacOS Mojave. I sure hope they don't make me update to Big Sur, I don't want to.
Yes it appears that any old iOS 13 widget gets shuffled into a group with other iOS 13 widgets and can't be moved to the new iOS 14 widget section until it's updated.
DataMan, for instance, just updated on my iPhone and the old iOS 13 widget disappeared automatically and I had to re-add it to my swipe-right widget page.
Thank you for this. I’m assuming these widgets will be updated eventually? Google calendar is often the first thing I want to see.
Couple of very welcome surprises:
When setting my Memoji avatar for sharing in Messages, there are not preset faces with very nice transitions when selecting through them. You can also now delete previously used avatars by tapping on them.
The pull-to-refresh animation (App Store, Mail...) has a little more flare, and it’s less jittery. Feels more refined.

I would assume eventually, yes. With Google, it's hard to tell. Gmail on iOS took forever to get the same feature set as its browser version, so personally I'm not holding my breath.
The one I really want is the Google News iOS 14 widget because I pair that with the Apple News widget to get me my quick glance news fix.
