The number may be the same, but at least one bug I reported on b8 is fixed in GM. (Shortcuts Date/Time picker didn't show time slider completely)
Probably the reinstall fixed it because the firmware is the exact same.
I have installed GM yesterday and will I receive official today and can I update the official?
NO. They are one and the same so nothing to "update".
If I have the iOS 14 GM build, will I be able to update my watch to os7 today? Or, will I have to get the “official” iOS 14 released today?
GM is official so sure update away.
Is there a way to get rid of this banner? It comes up anytime I wake up my phone from sleep.

Perhaps turn off autoswitching for AirPods will do it. Seems I have read some posts that indicated that it may.

I'm on a Mac on MacOS Mojave. I sure hope they don't make me update to Big Sur, I don't want to.
I’m on High Sierra and I had to download a package for iTunes when I tried to update (I was prompted immediately when I tried to update to iOS14). After installing the package, iTunes reopened and ask if I wanted to update to iOS 14.. Pretty easy actually..

Anyone else finding they can't click on a news story in the News widget and get it to open in the News app?

Well, don't know if this was a bug or what, but a reboot of my phone fixed it and the stories in the News app are now responsive to me clicking on them.

and you need to know this every time you wake your phone? Silly implementation. It should only appear when it notices a different connection
Gives you the peace of mind knowing the NSFW stuff you’re watching on your iPhone stays private✌🏼
Also saves you the trouble of actually looking up if the AirPods are connected to the intended device.

Tapping a folder on the Home Screen feels totally different on 14. I tried opening the folder containing the App Store because I had 8 app updates. The folder didn’t open. Can’t let my finger linger too long when tapping folders now. I’ve got to tap really quickly.

but if I am already listening to music on my iPhone via my AirPods, why do I still need this pop up every time I wake the iPhone? I already know I am connected, since I am listening to music on the AirPods literally right at that moment

Thank you I’ll try that tip for the AirPods when I get home & can connect them!

Turn it OFF maybe?

The AirPods prompt issue is getting exhausting. This has been covered multiple times since yesterday. There’s a very simple fix.

Sorry some of us can’t be glued to this thread 24/7 and didn’t see the posts. I’ve turned off the options people have suggested and the pop up keeps happening.

There’s a search function, FYI.

Go into your AirPods settings and switch from “Automatically” to “Last Connected to This iPhone.”

That’s your fix for now.

Go to Bluetooth->”Your” AirPods->Connect to this iPhone->When Last Connected to This iPhone.

That should stop the prompts.

Not sure if this is a watch or iOS bug.

Watch faces I create on my watch dont seem to appear in the ‘My Faces’ section of the iPhone app.

It's running on my 7+ and it's great. Mail is smoother and faster. I haven't really tried anything else but will play around with it for a day or two. I thought that it bricked my iPad mini but it's in iPad Recovery Mode right now so I'll have to re-setup my iPad mini this evening and then play around with it. Looking forward to setting up widgets.

Update: they fixed a Bluetooth issue that I've had for all of 13. My watch always connected with Bluetooth when I was in range. Since 13, I usually have to manually connect my watch with the phone. With 14, it's back to connecting automatically. It was a small thing but a bit of a nuisance.

Notes seem to be updated automatically now as well. Before I had to do a pull and it could take a very long time to get them. I really like this release so far.

Hmm. Finding some more bugs. Low res mode on the weather and calendar widgets?
